I feel this video is not appreciated enough. Very good video explaining so many things in such detail, and with friendly language that everyone can understand. This type of video really helps decide whether a laptop is worth buying or not. I wish more manufacturers bring more such content, explaining every internal spec in this manner. Needless to say, I am completely impressed! Definitely buying this one
just getting myself this exact version, 2nd gen zenbook duo 14, 11th gen i7, mx450, 16/512. what a productivity beast it is with screenpad+! never looked back on traditional laptops, this is the future. i guess sacrificing a bit on ergonomics (palm rests, touchpad usual location) for screenpad+ really worth it.
Owned the 1st gen zenbook duo and love it so much. The new Zenbook Duo 14 improves alot especially the tilting screenpad+. Would love to upgrade once there's a 4GB graphic card option or intel/AMD improve their chip graphic performance. Or even crazier, make the bottom half screen become full screen and provide thin bluetooth keyboard. 2 screens on the go.
That’s an amazing video presentation. I have a question for you. How can I expand the Lightroom tools on the control panel. When I see only limited basic photo editing panel is visible. How can I bring the entire Lightroom editing tools onto the second screen? Please explain. Thanks.
MX450 max-q upgrade is good, it would be nicer to see RTX 3050 graphics option to take advantage of all that screen-up and Ergolift, don't you think? Already quite heavy at 1.8kg, might as well go all the way with some extra power. Well done on the 400nit brightness too, now 16:10, QHD Touch option on the main display would be amazing too, for such premium laptop made for professionals like us. For the ports, a Full-size SD Reader, Thunderbolt 4, and more than just 1x USB-C port would be great as well, considering your target audience? Of course this whole Dual-Screen concept is one of the best innovations in the laptop market a while, so this is just my 2 cents, Asus ; ) - a very happy ROG Flow X13 user -
Just get the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo Same as this Zenbook Duo, except it has RTX 3000 graphics like u wanted, and a top of the line Ryzen CPU, best in performance. For the 2021 version of Zenbook Duo and Zephyrus Duo, I believe the top panel has touch capabilities too! About the IO, the 2021 version of Zenbook Duo has two Thunderbolt 4 type c ports, so that covers your final issue too! The ROG Zephyrus Duo even has LAN and multiple other extra ports on the back, so everyone should be covered! A full sized SD-card slot might be the ONLY thing we missed on, very sad to see only a micro SD slot on the Zenbook Duo.
@@smaronboruah Yeah but what I need is a LAPTOP, meaning 3 things: lightweight, long battery life, and little performance-drop while on battery power. Zephyrus and ZenBook Pro Duos are "Desktop Replacements". They weight over 3 kg with the included charger, and only runs for 1-2 hours while unplugged, and cannot perform decently at all while on battery. Additionally there is no main touchscreen on the Zephyrus Duo lineup for some strange reason, which is a major deal-breaker considering how you're supposed to use the dual-screen feature. So Zephyrus Duos are DoA, and ZenBook Pro Duo lacks the portability of a laptop, also DoA. The only viable option for dual screen is the 14" ZenBook Duo, which is at this stage just a really expensive ultrabook not made with professional audience in mind.
Absolutely true the battery life compromises of the 15in models is not worth it meanwhile the 14in edition is significantly less capable but many times more usable as a portable device. The CPU and MX gpu are quite adequate for anything but heavy gaming, and the battery life and portability is 10/10 considering how much is packed into the frame
Mind blowing I need a practical video for learning, using, implementing, executing both screens in every possible way/use. Because I am new to Computer/Laptop world.
Amazing looking laptop. Checked one out in the store just today and was quite impressed. Only detail missing in the video is where the charger plugs in. It seems to use one of the USB-C/TB4 ports which could be a real nuisance if you are using these with audio/video editing and need to charge/power the laptop. Next model should have a separate PSU connector alongside the USB-4 ports.
I'd like to know...can this one be used to produce music with a professional DAW? Running VST's and mixing audio plugins and stuff...I wonder if this could do the task?
Position of touch pad is not good but for me the the deal killer is the inability to update or RAM or replace battery. I'm done with manufacturers using built-in obsolescence in machines.
Definitely! It is certainly powerful enough for most coders. And having that extra screen helps a lot depending on how u use it. Maybe put the console there, or put a reference page there, up to your imagination! Overall, most programmers should benefit a lot from this device
Yeah absolutely I have three columns, a web browser and two terminals up plus you can still alt tab as usual when you need a couple more windows. This cpu kicks butt for most stuff and this is one of the best thermally performing implementations of that chip so it stays cool all day and quiet
@@hritchoudhury In my knowledge, the starting price is around 2,39,000. I don’t know about the other model. That’s why I’m waiting for asus team’s response on the same.

i dont know the price at other countries. For our country , Myanmar, it will cost 1800 USD with i7, FHD panel and 16 G memory. Is it more expensive than other countries????\
I'm good. Too many issues with my Scar ii 2070. i love it, although i sacrifice a lot of performance having to downclock my CPU and my boost speeds just to not thermal throttle in everything. not to mention 3 RMA's and the 4th denined by Asus themselves. no help via CS.
when this gets an AMD Ryzen 5xxxx series with Radeon RDNA 2 GPU, and with this blue light filter, i will jump all over it . even battery consumption will be much better. as long is Intel i am not interesting.
Microsoft will now fully remove Adobe Flash from Windows 10 in July. The Windows 10 "Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player," which permanently removes Flash as a component of the operating system, will become mandatory starting in July. So why bother adding it on a new laptop anyway?

I am disappointed this model doesn't include the luminated 10-key pad on the track pad.
Coz the numpad can be toggled on the 2nd screen
