Rails in Wales.Final week of services Pontypridd - Treherbert 29.04.2023

In April 2023 I spent the final week recording the last movements of class 150s on the line from Pontypridd to Treherbert. I've listed the stations in order departing Ponty for Treherbert. Some locations were without car parks nearby and I felt rather conspicuous with my video camera alone on some of the platforms. Not many rail enthusiasts visit non freight lines, this being one of them. Hopefully engineering work will be of interest now, as the line is upgraded by TfW until 2024. I don't think I'll take the bus alternative !

TfW on their PR pages say they will be sent for cover in North Wales

To you diesel class 317 drivers cars are but not to me class 101 wold of Ben worse with haspestoes nice brake squeals btw class 150 and all of the sprinter family but however class 150/9 looks odd as it’s a class 150/2 but with a nuther drivers cab in front of the 2 cars with a spear and wasted drivers cab
