When Ferrari sent him a cease and desist, he instantly attacked back that the car he bought wad thus considered his and he's free to do whatever he wanted till another letter was sent to him stating that Ferrari USA was ready to sue him for 1 or 2 million dollars as what he did to the logo was an infringement and it kept going back and forth for months before he finally backed off and dewrapped the car, sold it off and bought a Lamborghini Huracan for awhile before getting the 650S. i think, the reason is that what they did was the rebranding a existing branded car is sort illegal. Right. someone will say to that they build deadmau5 cars. so they would buy ferrari and rebrand them and sell them to more profits and cause alot of trouble. wrap is not the problem but rebranding an existing thing is problem. i think some Italians didnt like the way the ferrari was treated thats why they asked ferrari to sue deadmau5.

When Ferrari sent him a cease and desist, he instantly attacked back that the car he bought wad thus considered his and he's free to do whatever he wanted till another letter was sent to him stating that Ferrari USA was ready to sue him for 1 or 2 million dollars as what he did to the logo was an infringement and it kept going back and forth for months before he finally backed off and dewrapped the car, sold it off and bought a Lamborghini Huracan for awhile before getting the 650S.
To make it clear, his wasn't a normal 458 but a 458 Spider which itself is pretty rare.
It’s just ridiculous how these billion dollar companies like Ferrari, have their advantage in controlling their own customers.
