I’m watching a lot of these DIYs from Europe and I’m impressed. Seems like everyone in the USA is born with a drill and a level in their hands! And even the girly girls! Looks like nobody else is in awe about the fact that this girly young mom is building this bedroom set and even her mom is obviously giving her advice? Did you see she put a crown molding on the top? The whole build is absolutely insanely awesome!
That looks great. Such a nice green! You’ve given me a great idea for my small spare room. No shade, but i would have painted the shelves separate. It would have been heaps easier, but mostly you can’t adjust the shelves as it is. It still turned out great though 😃
With BIN, you never have to sand. BIN is the #1 primer for everything. Only BIN. Nice job! Looks great! ❤ Ps use a sprayer with paint and BIN and top coat. If using a dark color add some of it to the top coat to avoid it frosting.
Looks lovely but the wasted space inside the support boxes is killing me! You could’ve hung drawers in there or at least made the fronts little doors so you could access underneath for more storage!

I would add the billy door to one sides for back support to make it more of a reading nook. Love the whole project!
Curtains or blinds for bookcases would give warmth and serenity at night

Because of the way you painted, you can't adjust the shelves.
I know - I have no intention on moving them. I also wood filled all of the holes to make it look more custom.
What happened when the shelves bow? I imagine it wouldn’t be a hard fix t remove the shelves and do some touch up

If you ever want to clean your grout use peroxide scrub brush or broom brush

There’s access to an outlet near the window and there are 2 other outlets not far from the end of the bed!
