A very interesting video of re-batching your soap. I've been making soap for a year or so now and every time I have a batch I'm not completely satisfied with I donate the failed bars to my local women's shelter.
I have a grater disk on my cuisinart, which I have seen at thrift stores! Ty I have just made my first batch of cp soap! I will hold on to my mistakes and edging pieces for this.
Thanks for sharing. I made some Mother's Day Soap that was lye heavy, I'd like to rebatch. What would you recommend to re use? and should I add citric acid to save?
Hi, I been watching your videos which are so greatly helpful.....very grateful to you!! I have some batches which have got very greasy, due to the oil changes....may I pls know how much percentage of lye should I be using?? Thanks so much
Hi Thejaswini I am not sure what you mean by the oil changes ? If your soap is turning out oily it is most likely do to incorrect measurements of lye to oil ratio make sure you run your soap recipie through soapalc.net before hand To rebatch oily soap that didn't have enough lye to saponify all oils in your recipe you will have to go back over the recipe to know exactly what mistake you made to determine how much lye and you will also have to be able to ph test your soap to be safe in rebatching
Hi 😊,great job 👍I was wondering about your soap mold, can have the exact measurements if you don't mind,I really like the final result, thanks for sharing this method with us❤️❤️
yes I do sell them , I have a record of what recipes I use for what bar so I am able to label them properly but there are many options with how to go about keeping track of everything , labeling can be hard with out proper records
To pipe on top I would make a batch of cold processed piping soap and put that on top as it has not gone through saponification yet and would stick to the rebatch :)

Good video. Very informative. Thank you.
Please note that Sodium Lactate is not the same as Lactic Acid. You use both names but this ingredient is never interchangeable!

I think using Dough beaters would be better so not to introduce air into the mix. Very interesting I ill have a go. Thank you.
Instead of using water can i add oils to help dilute the old soap?
IMO, I preferred the light green color.
Do dark colors affect the lather? I've seen the charcoal soaps make gray lather
