What an amazing place. The fossils were so interesting to see, as well as the gumbo limbo tree..and yes, those that don't use sunblock...that is what happens. LOL. And very interesting history. I still have not been to Falls of the OH.
Thanks Nicole! If you do ever go to Falls of the Ohio, make sure it's at a drier time, when the river is lower. Usually late summer or early fall is best, that way more of the fossil beds are exposed. Not much for hiking, but makes for a nice stop on your way to bigger adventures.
