I have an in-depth question to ask you. When you're tracking, you seem to be able to tell when the person changes direction, you smoothly track a/d strafes. How do you get it do smooth? I never know when they move, and by the time I realise, I have to move my crosshair a fair distance to get back onto my target, which makes me miss around 3-4 shots. How do you recognise people changing directions so well?
im just trying to read the enemy's movements. in different situations, people wont always strafe the same way. for example, in tight areas, or high pressure situations, people tend to do fast and short strafes. whereas, in more open areas, or low pressure situations, they'll do longer strafes. of course this ISNT ALWAYS the case, but it's common. and it's not just that, there are countless more reasons as to why someone would strafe a certain way. like what kind of weapon are they using? (singlefire, auto, shotgun, ar, pistol, etc,) it even changes depending on how THEY react to YOUR OWN strafing (like imitating your strafes, etc,) and more. this is not a "technique," so you cant learn it without endless hours of just playing the game and analysing once you learn how to stay calm and judge where to aim by reading the enemy's movements, the smoothness becomes easy.
@@ahnfps thank you for the indepth answer! I've been struggling with this in my tracking for the longest time. I've spent over 750 hours on Apex, and I'm ready to spend more.
