@@DredlyMusic I really want to. It's only a matter of time i think. I've got a few other videos in the pipeline that i want to publish first, but i'm definitely considering it.
Currently trying to catch up on hw. Glad this was uploaded, I was feeling a bit stressed out. I have a toddler, I have a job and I'm in college. I feel like I barely have time for anything, including basic needs such as sleep. Hoping this will be worth it.
You're not alone! It's bands like crumb that fuel my creative and productive energy. Even when I'm sleep deprived from my kids, work, education, etc...
lately, I've been thinking about the whole concept of the last two music videos Crumb has released. First, we get Trophy and then BNR - in a way, both music videos show the desintegration of something (trophy and then our being). The waitresses are walking in circles and so does the weird person in the end who is spinning and kills the two men, which reminds me of the race that was happening in the Trophy music video - It is a concept about the race with Time and how past spins around us, hence the black and red theme (past and blood, respectively). In 2:09 of BNR's music video, we see a toy loosing its head and then in the last part of the video the same thing happens to the two men who were in the hills. Thus, if we don't move on, we become toys of our own past, which can makes us, literally or metaphorically, loose our heads. But hey, that's just my opinion! Love you guys, keep blessing us with your beautiful masterpieces
Honestly I agree with your conclusions! I know there has to be a theme or meaning behind each of their videos. You have to take some time to decode what they are trying to convey. There are multiple meaning you can arrive to, but thats the thing about the music video or songs. You are entitled to your own thoughts and lessons about each piece :)
To see this band grow from their self titled EP in 2016 to BNR It is honestly such a privilege to see the growth this band has achieved. I remember reading reviews of their Jinx album back in 2019 and some of their EP's saying that despite the sound feeling unfinished they really saw the potential they could bring. Now today, I cannot believe the amount of production and work they have brought, you did it.
To everyone on the Crumb train: It's an honest to god privilege to be enduring this strange trip with you. To exist in this timeline to see the Crumb timeline unfurl is surreal. Also to everyone, Happy belated 4/20. These new singles are CRISP while you're crispy
I'm guessing so, because when you're stoned, the instrumentals and effects perfectly complement and match the "trip." If you do mushrooms, Lila becomes the "godess of her own universe [the video]", and the videos are pure cenima, like Imax.
I love this song. It holds one of my favorite qualities that a lot of Crumb songs have. That is, it sounds like I've heard it before. I don't mean that it sounds derivative or samey, but rather it sounds like a song that got stuck in my head every day as a kid. It sounds like a song my family and I would've played over and over again on a road trip. It sounds like the song I showed all my friends and told them how I loved it and it was my favorite. That's how it makes me feel.
I love how not only the instant Crumb arose they had the talent to Click together musically like a band with 30+ years experience together.. but also that cinematically their videos have never failed to be the definition of Surreal

Maybe two years too late with this, but I learned this song, and to my surprise, that opening chord is a passing chord in stairway to heaven's intro (the second arpeggiated chord in the into melody). I am convinced that is the genesis of this song.
J'écoute ce groupe depuis son premier morceau et je ne trouve toujours pas les mots pour décrire ce que je ressens à chacun de leur nouveau titre. J'aime la voix, la mélodie, les effets sonores et tous les arrangements. Quel superbe travail ! Je ne suis jamais déçu
