By far the best cover I've seen so far of this song. You put a lot of feeling and phrasing into your playing and you have a great sense for rythm, as in all the notes are perfectly in sync with the drum track yet feel floaty (if that makes any sense). You're very talented, keep it up!
I found this song about a year ago and listen to it almost daily, I usually start my morning off with it. I've never in my life heard a better cover to this ! You did Hornsby well:) The entire song is beautiful, but 248 and on is pure magic. Amazing work

Just stumbled on this after watching Bruce in some concert footage. You know, this was my favorite album back in '86/'86. Listening to Bruce play it live is good but the studio phrasing just gets me more. You, my friend, hit it perfectly and give it the same life as the original. Very nice.

My neurologist told me to learn to play an instrument like guitar or piano. I've got multiple scleroses and he thinks it's a good everyday practice for my fingers.

Astounding. Just listening and without seeing the video, I would have wagered that this was Bruce Hornsby himself. The arpeggiated staccato style of Bruce Hornsby -- in addition to the feel of uneven time between the right and left hands -- make this a very complex song to play. I very much appreciate the kind words :) there is a huge amount I cannot do, but I am pleased with how it is going so far :) I didn't really take lessons, my dad showed me how to play a song with both hands and I taught myself with trial and error for what sounded right or wrong and copying pianists I liked from videos on UA-cam :p there is a lot you can learn on your own :)) take care! ☺️

I very much appreciate the kind words :) there is a huge amount I cannot do, but I am pleased with how it is going so far :) I didn't really take lessons, my dad showed me how to play a song with both hands and I taught myself with trial and error for what sounded right or wrong and copying pianists I liked from videos on UA-cam :p there is a lot you can learn on your own :)) take care! ☺️

I listen to music on youtube quite a bit and this probably the first time I have ever written a comment. The original song itself is powerful, but honestly I'd rather listen to you play in than Bruce H. Would you consider doing a cover (piano and vocals) of Long December by Counting Crows at some point?
