This vision is a stark contrast from what we’re seeing/living/experiencing in the flesh! Another testimony of Our Father’s love for us, in spite of the pervasive evil that surrounds us! This brings peace to my soul!

The opposition helped convert. The hatred, the mob, the bloodthirsty actions surrounding the restoration gave credence and possibility to the Book of Mormon. You Brother are wonderful in your obscure, off the beaten track, stories of our beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ. We love 💕 hearing them! Please keep it up!

That is a special heritage. If we strive to live like he lived, and believe like he believed, then perchance some of us may be able to go where he went, and become joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

We all need to be delivered by God, don't we? We need to be rescued from our sins as we are not strong enough to break them of our own power. We need to be shown the way to withdraw from Babylon, that we partake not of her sins, that we receive not of her plagues. Even if that means only mentally and spiritually withdraw.

Eternal life is not something you work to attain, it comes through faith in Jesus Christ and him alone (John 3:16) "...that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Don't test me more. I know the Bible and the truth of God more than you know the back of your hand. You are in a cult. The Mormon Church is the real false church, not those of us who preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything man needs in a right relationship with God comes from a true walk with Jesus Christ. Oh and you are not "a 'god' and your good works are as filthy rags in the sight of God.

Lorenzo Young like his brother Brigham, Heber and others; they all also had their own personal individual witnesses as to the divinity of God The Father, His Son Jesus Christ and of Heaven and hell. Which indeed had prepared them all to except and join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Thankfully each of us has had to do the same study, ponder and pray in our lives also to find out for ourselves the same Eternal truths. Grateful I am that the Spirit of The Lord also witnessed to me from where we came from, why we are here, and where we go after this life. Well Spoken. Heber C. Kimball says a Test, a Test a Test! is coming, and only those who knew for themselves that Jesus is the Christ will be able to stand. We won't be able to stand on borrowed light. We need the gift of the Holy Ghost and men called of God by revelation to return to the Church in order to survive. Each of us, both individually and collectively need "Thus Sayeth the Lord" revelation to return to the church. It is as vital and necessary for us today as it was for all the people of the past.
Please explain to me what the Book of Mormon teaches that supercedes the Bible and why it is important to read for one's salvation. You may also explain to me whether or not one can know he or she is going to heaven when one dies and what does your teachning mean that says, "as man is, god once was, as God is man may become." The God of the Bible is declared to be the "Great I Am" which in Hebrew means, "I am the self-existent all powerful eternal one." Are you telling me that I too am eternally self-existent, but as a mere man, I just don't know that I have existed eternally and one day, I too, will become a "god?"

I can only affirm to you and others who may inquire of me and perhaps millions like myself as to how do we know that we all existed in Heaven as Spiritual children of a Loving God The Father Elohim and with our Elder Brother Jehovah known on Earth as Jesus Christ. I know of these truths again through much study, ponder and prayer. It is like you trying to describe to me what salt taste like if I have never tasted it! You see The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants and The Pearl of Great Price are all Standard Scriptural Doctrines along with The (13) Articles of Faith which all contain the Eternal tenets of our Faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I would suggest David the book by Apostle LeGrand Richards "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder" as a starting point. @@davidcooper1201 Quick answer to just one of your questions, why is it important to read? Ask, seek, knock is a Biblical pattern. Ask = prayer to God and questions to others; seek = things like reading and study and personally trying and experimenting with following commandments and doctrines offered (see John 7:16-17); knock = ask some missionaries to describe knocking at the veiled door of heaven.
@@davidcooper1201 As to the idea and doctrine of "deification" (technical term for becoming a god), it's neither a new idea (early Christian writers wrote about it) nor an illogical one. However, whether one of us children of God grows up to be like our Parents in Heaven, never is a child in some manner superior to her/his Parents (especially if the Parents are perfect-by definition, you can't exceed perfect). The Parents/God will always be our God. Yes, we believe us imperfect, morally stained (without and prior to repentance) children can become like our perfect Heavenly Parents, all because of Jesus' making the Way possible. Just like children now can follow and emulate well lived lives of their earthly parents. It is not a logic-defying concept and there is biblical basis for it, though it's not a widely accepted or broadcast tenet of mainstream Christianity.
One of the great reasons and purposes there are so many religions, churches and ideas is that God leaves us free to think and choose what we will and that this life is a test of faith, of willingness to obey God who rare few see. If the truth and path of God were too obvious and easy to see, there would be no faith (no need for it) and, thus, no test of faith.
Oh what a blessing this testimony is 🙏🌈 for him who experienced and for us who have the privilege of hearing/reading this words of unmistakable truth, and build our own testimony of this great and marvelous work 💖 so so grateful 🙏🌈❤️

I wanted to thank you for telling me about the Coming Crisis. I was blown away by it. It was amazing. Early Christian literature says very similar things about the antichrist, but not near as much detail. To think they saw aeronautics before flying was possible. This explosion of knowledge we have seen really was inspired by God and exploited by the wicked. Airplanes and missiles have been used ever since to wage war on the innocent. When Philo Farnsworth first imagined the concept of television while observing a plowed field, it was a gift and inspiration from God. Years later he said if he knew then of the disgusting things playing on TV he never would have done it.
When I was a kid in the 80s I was fascinated with computers. I used to dream of the day they would become advanced enough to display a photograph. But as technology rapidly progressed I became alarmed at how intrusive it had become. It now keeps detailed files on every single person and everything about their lives, including everything they view, read and write. I now want less and less to do with it.
Anyway I am rambling. But this message is exactly how I feel. All of these gifts of God have been used to deceive the people. It was even a revelation to me that pharmakea is the original word for sorcery mentioned in Revelation chapter 18.
We truly need word of the Lord revelation and the gifts of the Holy Ghost including healing to return to the Church. Something that has not happened in over a century. We need it badly to see it through to the other side of the judgments.

This supposed testimony tells us nothing. It falls short of the more glorious revelation delivered to us in the Book of Revelation. His testimony falls very short of anything majestic. It is in fact a false testimony. There is nothing in it that exhalts the Lord Jesus Christ who is the living Word of God.
@@davidcooper1201 At the 6 minute and 25 second mark until 7:03, there is revelation given to Lorenzo Snow pertaining to his mission in regard to His (and our) Savior, Jesus Christ. This is what is being revealed to us in the recording and it is up to each person who listens to this to accept it or not, pray about it or not, reject it or not.... There are also the parts in the video of Lorenze Snow struggling to find and recognize truth. Many people have had experiences wherein they have briefly died and had to come back. How much they were shown apparently depends on what the Lord wants to reveal to that very person and the state of the person's heart (full of love, faith, hope and openness or not) and whether they have any inkling about Jesus Christ yet. He will not, apparently, give us more than we can absorb and believe at that time or it could work to our condemnation. I do not intend or have any desire to argue with anyone; I'm just stating that I do not see any evidence of this being a 'false testimony.' By the way, a year or two ago in a talk by President Oaks, he touched on the subject of being careful about reading books and learning more about 'near-death-experiences'. He said something about being careful to make sure the evidence of the presented experience exists in some form. The footnote on this part of the talk was to two books, both, if I recall correctly, to do with one man's experience when in the military. He had died for 20 minutes in a military hospital and there was ample evidence for all the world to check out. One of the persons who learned of this man's account, went on to form the International Association of Near Death Experience (IANDS). This founder of IANDS, Raymond Moody, was a psychiatrist and wanted evidence. He and like-minded professional colleagues formed this strong association. They wanted to obtain stories from around the world -- and see if peoples of all religions and cultures have similar or dissimilar NDE's. I have noticed Dr. Moody has now written a book on a subject I would not want to look into -- but that's a different subject than this reply. I think his original quest to find out what he set out to find out years and years ago was good. I think sometimes if we are not careful we can be led beyond the mark and perhaps that is the case with him. I do not know. I only saw the title of one of his latest books. I've never read his books. The Word of God and His prophets' words keep me plenty busy.

Also, did you notice the word 'bio-electric' in the article attributed to John Taylor -- listed as one of many skills of the adversary? I had the feeling that has to do with something in particular and I looked it up online to see the modern-day definition. I, myself, took a course in what can be termed bio-electric healing in 2015. When I came to the chapters on dark spirits....that was the end of that (expensive) course for me. I will not dabble with that and will rely on the Lord Jesus Christ for guidance and help. I have a friend who I am very concerned about who took the same course and is very deeply into it. Thank you for your note.
@@MagentaGlad There is not one prophesy given by Mormon supposed "prophets" that has ever come true. According to the Word of God a true prophet must prove his credentials by making short term predictions. If these come true (since only God knows the future) then that prophet was proven genuine and his word was to be accepted as the Word of God.
So reveal to me, what predictions (phrophesies) came true that we given by any of the Mormon supposed "prophets." I am waiting. I all ready to know the answer. Prove me wrong.
Mr. Snow did not have an NDE...he supposedly was in a trance. He gave us no earth shattering revelation. Because he was a Moromon he was a false prophet.

You know sometimes I think youtube is programed into playing games with that number. Numerous times I seen that number come up over the years. I haven't seen it lately, but there were times I would check the view count on a particular video after it was released and it would tell me 666 views. It seemed to go up and then stall at that number for a while and then start climbing again. I could be imagining it, but who knows?
I got this story from a compilation of faith promoting life sketches a friend gave to me. It does not have an author so that tells me it was informally compiled. However, out of all the stories in this compilation, I am familiar with several of them and know them to be true. That doesn't automatically make this true. But I am also familiar with the early life of Brigham Young, how he and his wife boarded with the family of Heber C. Kimball in Mendon, NY. Brigham Young's first wife died there and is buried there alongside the parents of Heber C. Kimball. Brigham and Heber were also converted together by a man named Gifford, if I remember correctly.
Lorenzo and his brother in this video defended a missionary named Gifford. Whether it was the same Gifford, I have not checked. But there are a lot of details in this story that seem to have a ring of truth to them.
I only read about a fourth of the entire narrative of Lorenzo Young. If you are interested, I could put it on dropbox in pdf format and provide you a link to it.

My opinion is that skin color is purely a mortal concern. My opinion is that God has skin the "color" of light. And that white is, literally, a gross approximation of light; that anyone who calls anyone but bloodless albinos "white" or anyone even the darkest shade of brown "black" is optically unintelligent and needs to go back to art and science classes! Following God = right, pure, light; following Satan = wrong, impure, dark.
One of the greatest prophets from The Book of Mormon-Another Testament of Jesus Christ was "Samuel, the Lamanite." Samuel came from the Lamanite group of people who had been cursed with dark/black skin. I'm not going to look up and rehash when/where scriptures say dark/darkness or black/blackness. My point is that being born under a curse, of whatever literal or physical manifestation, is secondary and irrelevant to one's choice for righteousness and obedience to God. Samuel was blessed for righteousness and obedience and surely made heaven.
God will one day silence all the critics of scripture (including that He will clear up all errors in scripture and errors in interpretations and translations of scripture), history and His dealings with men. I am certain people of all colors and races have, can and will make it to heaven. Please, don't worry about skin color or race and simply strive for obedience and righteousness and ALL will be well in the end!

I’m a Mormon.
We should believe the Scriptures, not man.
And the Scriptures testify the Mormon Church is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on earth.
But if something is taught that can't be verified by Scripture, think twice about believing it.
I understand why so many people are leaving the church.
Many false doctrines exist causing countless UA-cam videos mocking Mormonism.
False doctrines like grandpa gods, (God the Father has a father), Mormons becoming gods of their own planets, Adam helped create the earth, Christ and Satan are brothers, God the Father has rarely spoken in Scripture, the African Americans were bad in the pre-existence; all of which no Scripture verifies.
And each Sunday the Sacrament is tainted because only Elders and Priests can administer but the Deacons prepare/administer and the Teachers pass/administer the Sacrament. (D&C 20:57)
And the Lord says, He’s bound when we do what He says but if not there is no promise. (D&C 82:10)
…that the scriptures might be fulfilled; for ye shall do according to that which is written. (D&C 24:14)
And we wonder why there’s depression, mental illness and other unspeakable events among us?
And many are leaving the church because if you don't fit the mold the church leaders sculpture you're not a part of the click.
Mormons believe the church leaders over Scripture.
The zealous believers have the church leaders in mind with everything thing they think say and feel testifying to impress others how much they believe the current church leaders are God-inspired.
But the Scriptures reveal the church leaders are the problem with the entire planet.
For example,
In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we are informed of a person revealed as the son of perdition
This son of perdition sits in the temple of God making himself God or above all that is called God.
Therefore, if the Mormon Church is the only true church, and I believe it is and will back that belief using the Scriptures, then the only person 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 could be talking about is the current Mormon prophet.
For what other church is the one and only true church with temples?
And Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a church member holding all the rights of God's priesthood and using the priesthood against God as did Judas.
Therefore, who else other than the current Mormon prophet could the apostle Paul be speaking of?
It's as plain as the nose on a face.
And even God in the Doctrine and Covenants tells us about the current church leaders and how displeased He is saying the end of this world will begin among them. (D&C 112:23-26)
Joseph Smith taught the false doctrine of grandpa gods (God the Father has a father) not over the pulpit as a prophet but as a sermon at a funeral, which should not be taken as Scripture fulfilling God’s sayings to Paul, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
That they might be damned who believed not the truth….(2Thessalonians 2:12)
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (Revelation 13:7) (D&C 112:23-26)
And the current Mormon prophet is the son of perdition because he has all the saints believing God our Heavenly Father was created by a being greater than Himself but Scripture says there is no greater than our God. (Hebrews 6:13)
Therefore, the son of perdition has all the saints breaking the first commandment God gave Moses,
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Does it make sense to reasonable thinking that God would command we have no other gods before Him but really there are?
Does He not want us to know this?
Why is it a secret?
There’s a reason He commanded to have no other gods before Him.
Because by believing in false grandpa gods the saints believe our God is an infinitely lesser God putting Lucifer before God.
And the moment we put a god before our God, our God becomes an infinitely lesser God.
Not only that, our God also becomes a liar.
He and the Scriptures says He is the greatest of all.
He and the Scriptures says He is the Most High God.
He and the Scriptures say He created all things.
And in the Scriptures He says over and over there are no gods beside Him. (Isaiah 44:6) (Isaiah 44:8) (Isaiah 45:22) (Hebrews 6:13)
Therefore, the saints believing there are gods before Him is the saints believing the son of perdition or the current Mormon prophet over the Scriptures and calling God and the Scriptures a lie.
And Isaiah warns,
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
The saints call the son of perdition (President Nelson) good and good (Jesus Christ) evil.
Because President Nelson says Christ and His Father are liars.
President Nelson says Christ did not create all things. (John 1:1-3)
Matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed the scientists say therefore the son of perd. or President Nelson says the grandpa gods created these calling Christ and the Scriptures a lie.
Well did Abinadi warn the wicked king Noah and his priests,
Have ye taught this people that they should observe to do all these things for to keep these commandments? (Mosiah 13:25)
I say unto you, Nay; for if ye had, the Lord would not have caused me to come forth and to prophesy evil concerning this people. (Mosiah 13:26)
And what is the commandment Abinadi taught that the people do not obey?
Thou shalt have no other God before me. (Mosiah 12:35)
Know ye not that I speak the truth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God. (Mosiah 12:30)
And it is a false doctrine to say God our Heavenly Father has rarely spoke to us in Scripture.
(3Nephi 27:26), (3Nephi 24:1). (2Nephi 31:20), (2Nephi 31:11) (D&C 49:20), (3Nephi 20:29) (D&C 49:5), (Moses chapters 1-2)
Beware of the doctrine of the scribes and Pharisees. (Matthew 16:6-12)
You are very much on point when you say:

What is happening in the Church today is essentially no different than what happened to the early Christian Church founded in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago. The people who survived the persecutions became embarrassed and ashamed of the pure principles of the Gospel. The Roman government took over the Church and re fashioned it in their own image. It was known as the great apostacy. The same forces that overthrew the Church then are hard at work on the beleaguered church today. We have to recognize that.
The Scriptures say the last days would be a time that would deceive the very elect. Yet God provided a safeguard for the people of the Church to help them from becoming deceived. Hebrews 5:4 in speaking of the priesthood said no man taketh this honour unto himself but he that is called of God as was Aaron. The Bible records that Moses was commanded in a revelation to ordain Aaron to the Priesthood. The original twelve Apostles were called by the Lord to their calling. The original Apostles in the LDS Church were all called by published revelations to their calling in the Church.
The present leaders of the Church were not called by any revelation. If the elect could ever wake up and realize this, they would not be found upholding an administration called and ordained by men and not of God.
As far as the Godhead goes, let me share my take on it. When the Bible teaches us to worship the one true God, it means the one true godhead. The original Hebrew calls God the Elohim. Which literally means God(s) plural. Of course modern Judaism strenuously objects to this interpretation, but if we take the meaning literally, that is what it means. We must worship the one true Elohim, we must worship the one true Godhead, and we are not to have any other Gods (basketball, football, gambling, religions, idol worship, vices, etc) come before the one true Godhead in our lives.
The Godhead is literally the government which reigns in the universe. We live our lives as a testing ground to test our worthiness to become a part of that government. If we fail this test, then we fail to secure for ourselves a place in that government and become joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

Elohim meaning Gods is not a big concern because there's the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and these three are One God but three personages making Gods before whom there are no other gods.
The Bible reads,
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. (Gen. 2:18)
And looking at that passage who is God speaking to? Himself?
But the Book of Moses says,
And I, the Lord God, said unto mine Only Begotten, that it was not good that the man should be alone; wherefore, I will make an help meet for him. (Moses 3:18)
Now we know who God was speaking to, His Only Begotten.
And when the Bible says, the man is become as one of “us”, to know good and evil…we know He is talking to His Only Begotten.
And if you think about it, God the Father has given our Lord Jesus Christ both titles of the Father and the Son.
Abinadi tells us why that is but another reason is because; there are no gods before Him (Jesus Christ).
And the first few chapters of the Book of Moses God the Father is speaking until the Only Begotten speaks in chapter 5 and His Only Begotten only speaks after Adam is baptized and receives the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
And in that day the aHoly Ghost fell upon Adam, which beareth record of the Father and the Son, saying: I am the bOnly Begotten of the Father from the beginning, henceforth and forever, that as thou hast cfallen thou mayest be dredeemed, and all mankind, even as many as will. (Moses 5:9)
The Church leaders have the saints believing God the Father has rarely dealt directly with man since the fall of Adam and that is another false doctrine…

Sounds like a beautiful testimony, It's a pity the churches history, and what goes on today don't back it up to be what it claims.
The pure religion is a beautiful thing. But it is under constant attack. Both from within and outside of the Church. From very high and powerful places.
Just like it was in the early days of the Christian Church 2,000 years ago. Evil was spoken of them everywhere. Where ever they went, people would roll their eyes at the mere mention of the name Christian and want to do them harm. Because people every where believed the evil spoken constantly against the early "Christians" as the world labeled them. The world never accepted them until the world conquered and subdued them and reformed Christianity in their own image.
Human nature never changes. In these days people everywhere roll their eyes in disgust at the mere mention of the name Mormon as the world labels them. They believe all the evil spoken constantly against them. The world will never accept them until they are conquered and subdued and the name Mormon is banished from the vocabulary. People everywhere are ashamed of that name.
It's not what people say about the church, it's the churches actually history and the deceitful practises of today from it's leaders, latest one hiding it's money so people don't stop paying tithing. SEC case
@@smaug3045 I agree with you to a point. The present case smacks of corruption. But as angry as everyone gets at me for saying this, these are the works of flawed mortal men just like every one of us. It does absolutely nothing to refute the pure truth of the religion. To say otherwise is only making excuses based on a lack of understanding of what the religion really means. In fact, what they were caught doing only confirms the God given free agency of men which we all have to to good or wrong.
Trouble is the people who would have signed this off are the 1st presidency, our prophets who people still believe are in direct communication with God. As for pure religion, does that include pretending to slit your throat in masonic rituals.
