Pipe Dream 2 in Minecraft V2

- Finally had some time to finish up this project, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Using replay mod was definitely the right choice, but unfortunately there were no options to smoothly accelerate or deaccelerate the camera. I tried my best though to make it look as good as possible, but the camera may look a little janky at times. Oh well.
Of course there are also issues with the rendering of some of the gravel, I guess with so many entities my computer has trouble rendering all of them correctly. This is pretty apparent on the marimba, but there isn't anything I can really do about it.
On the other hand, the audio quality should be better now! It only took 4 hours of tutorials, troubleshooting, and trying to figure out how ffmpeg works :P
I'm going to stop trying to predict when my next upload will be, but I am considering making an explanation video for this new(er) stage. I also might take another look at Future Retro using the Create mod.
Lastly, thank you guys for 500 subscribers! I'm not uploading enough to please the UA-cam algorithm, but I eventually want to reach 1k subs and now we're halfway there!

This is the most faithful recreation of an animistic track in Minecraft ever. Congrats on nearly 600 subs!
Thank you!
Do you know kirby and forgotten land?
❤❤❤
this is so incredibly impressive. you don't give yourself enough credit for how loyal the camerawork is to the the style of the original!
Thank you! Of course I could never get the cameras to a point where I was 100% happy with them, but overall I'm very proud of the final video and I'm glad you appreciate all the work that went into it =)
I think you've done a brilliant job! This is so cool! I really like how you made the spiral golden vibraphone, especially how there is one center launcher that can hit all of the notes because the angle the gravel is entering the launcher makes it go to different places, just like how the original had one center launcher with the balls going at different angles to hit the notes. I have seen a different recreation of the Pipe Dream stage that was in real life and they obviously couldn't do that and had to make a spinning launcher instead (it was cool but not as accurate to the original as your amazing creation).
Yesss! This was incredible, I loved every moment of it! :D
The camera movement actually is cool
Thanks, I spent a lot of time learning replay mod and perfecting the camera paths for this video :P
That was actually amazing
Thank you!
My man is really underrated
Now time to blow it all up
animusic was my childhood and I greatly appreciate this recreation
This is actually insane. If animusic 3 ever drops you need to recreate Super Pipe Dream and use the Create mod to add some of the more difficult things like the rotating part of the drumkit and the MarimBelt.
Absolutely stunning work, mate!
I was pondering the use of create mod in this as well! Imagine the possibilities with actual moving parts!
nice!
You are a true master of this.
Thanks!
❤
i understand why the chimes didnt move more than they do in the real song. its because of how slow the chimes move.
Unfortunately the chimes couldn't move up all the way and back down in time to hit the next note. A little annoying but not a huge deal
You've truly made something special. Can't wait to see this video go viral!

This is so cool!! :p
:P
Oh wow, this is incredible! Never thought I would see someone recreate it in Minecraft!
Nice! Replay mod looks awesome 👍
Sick
Animusic is so underrated good job bro
this is so beautiful. was this all done using redstone? how does that circular xylophone thing work?
Almost everything was done using redstone, although some command blocks using the /setblock command were used as wireless redstone when necessary. The circular xylophone is a little hard to explain, but you can kind of see how it functions in this WIP video: ua-cam.com/video/kkvt0SHUpvE/v-deo.html
@@CowsSayMoo oh that is amazing, I hope this video does well
thats great! cant wait to see more!
if you notice. that in some parts the shulker boxes arent rendered in.
Well it was that or glazed terracotta, which let's be honest would have looked far worse
Cool
Very impressive!
Thank you!
Amazing job!
Could we get a world download please?
🎵🎶
how is this even possible
Cathedral pictures in Minecraft craft please?
Cathedral Pictures would be quite challenging. Not out of the question, but probably not anytime soon. All these projects take a tremendous amount of time!
Pipe dream 2 > pipe dream
Agreed
is the jumping block mechanic only achievable by mod?
I only used the carpet mod to increase the piston push limit for the chimes, everything else is completely vanilla. Most instruments make heavy use of slimeblock launchers and bubble elevators
@@CowsSayMoo i see, thanks
Do a tutorial video on this stuff I would really know how to do this
That would be quite a long tutorial! For the music specifically, my Pipe Dream Explained video from a while ago shows the basics of how the music coding works and how it aligns with the animation/slime block launcher thingies. However, I'm afraid a tutorial would just be uninteresting and not very useful. If you want to try to make stuff like this, I would honestly just open up a world and try building whatever redstone contraptions you want! I didn't magically know how to design this, it took lots of thinking, experimenting, and just messing around. Not a very helpful response, I know, but starting small is how I ended up making gigantic stuff like this :)
@@CowsSayMoo thanks bruh 👍

Wait, you used a MIDI file aren't you
I used a midi file as a reference so I wouldn't have to figure out the notes and timings by ear. I did have to create all the music using redstone in game though!
@@CowsSayMoo Oh my god
