A key factor I believe that should be in any Dalek animation. Is the subtle movements in their gun and manipulator arms. It shows that they are alive, and are not completely static. You have done that, and very well.
Definitely agree, I think some people over-do this do when they have the head, eyestalk, plunger arm and gun all moving all over the place, it just really takes me out of the animation.
Even with the implication that RTD might temporarily retire the Daleks until further notice, I would like to hope that he's keen on giving the DTS some screen presence on the show eventually. Especially considering how RTD fought to keep Big Finish from getting canceled.
I can just imagine the governing commission's feelings after the Daleks fire on their station: Well, Time Lords, are you happy, now? Not only did you bring the Time War to our station, but now we're going to die because of you!
@@forcedalek I was able to animate to the audio by adding it to the video sequencer time line. Once that's in I can enable "Scrubbing" by going to the main project time line. Now I can go frame by frame and increase or decrease the strength of the lights based on when the Daleks talk As for render engine; I used Cycles. Tho it did mean rendering on and off over a period of a few days
@@forcedalek Try rendering at low sample counts and make good use of the denoiser. For example this render was done at 128 samples Also keep in mind things that would in crease render times. Such as depth of field, motion blur and volumetrics Another thing which I would recommend is to not render more than you have to, while being consistent with the pace of your animation. Basically: keep your scenes concise and to the point. Don't linger where it's not necessary because it will only increase render times. And also know exactly when your render is going to end, so you don't waste time on rendering extra frames that end up on the cutting room floor I also highly suggest looking at the plethora of tutorials out there on the subject of render times Hope this is helpful :3
Dalek Diplomacy is, evidently, a work in progress.
Dalek Gunboat Diplomacy.
Yeah! Haha!
Dalek: DIP-LO-MA-CY…. IS THAT A KIND OF PRE-HISTORIC REP-TILE?
@@kingfairytale4306 lol that comment always cracks me up to no end 🤣🤣🤣
Ah. A fellow Second Empire fan I see? So am I.

@@TimeCorridorAnimations Yep. The eye stalk especially for me. Unless it is a comedic animation then I let it slide.
I love how every dalek knows full well they're just gonna blow them all up but they're still gonna lead them on for the giggles
we need to see the time strategist and time controller roasting each other
I'm still sad that the time strategist never made it in the actual TV show
Never say never

The way you shot this 🔥
So cinematic, looks like it could be a Triple A game
And the wobble of the Dalek speaking at 0:13…superb attention to detail
You and I must be playing very different games then 😂.
Daleks are actually scary in big finish

I think of all the adaptations I've seen of this scene, this is easily the best.
Okay, the time strategist design is just superb, brilliant job!
The Time Strategist is so softly spoken.
Damn you have really improved over the years
Probably my favourite animation of this scene on youtube, your lighting work is sublime! Great stuff
Incredible!
Holy shit that is gorgeous
Purple and gold very nice 👍🏻
This is awesome! Would love to see more of the dalek time strategist!
that design is actually good, the one where the rings would inhibit the dome moving from side to side bugged me
God I wish Big Finish would create "Big Finish Games Studios" 😔 truly amazing animation skills 😵💫
they'd charge £90 for a game
@@ennayanne I'd pay that. 😤😂😂
Woah this looks incredible the animation is beautiful 😍
This looks amazing
Awesome!
Nice dalek models!
Fantastic work!✨👏
Cool!
Damn, once I've finished my drone I need to build that thing!
Sounds like Shockwave.
Is that Harriet Jones, Former Prime Minister speaking????!!!!
Blender?
Ye
@@edeffects how did you get the dome lights in time with the voice? Also cycles or evee
