How to jump IRL : legs, stand straight and go with the horse when it jumps. How NOT to jump IRL (aka how to fall) : lean forward just before jumping. Gallop too fast. How to jump in ETG : LeAn FoRwArD aNd RuN aS fAsT aS yOu CaN
When i learnt how to jump for the first time they had me do 2-point a quarter of the arena before the jump… i changed barns. (But that barn taught me alot and how to care for a horse i loved it alot!)

My barn taught me to jump with my back really straight and almost backwards (am I saying this correctly ? I’m not good at describing positions, I still need to learn English). That way, the horse was well balanced. But then I got to taught how to go with the horse more, and now it’s better. I see too many videos of kids learning how to jump and they’re leaning on the horse’s neck, and most of the time they fall or the horse doesn’t jump correctly because they’re disturbing the jump with such a balance.
from what i originally saw on the website, i was so excited for this game, but seeing it now seems less exciting. I think if the devs worked a bit harder to animate things and listened to criticism from fans then it would be better. Thanks for the video Violet!

Hi if you want your horse to canter immediately hold the left or right arrow and he’ll go. You don’t have to kick all the way from trot to canter. (I think they taught that in the beginner’s guide? Not sure tho) Edit: a lot of people are complaining about the controls, but that’s actually what makes me like ETG more. It’s just more realistic (i.e. holding the reins and adding leg at the same time to collect gates, having to pull back on hot horses and keep urging calmer horses on) Of course if you’re used to the simple controls of SSO it takes some getting used to. I do hope there’s a faster way to get to trot other than kick all the way, though. No hate, and I’m not saying the game is flawless (bc it’s not. So true about things in the shop being expensive)
While I agree realistic riding is fun for a video game, these controls are awful. very confusing and make no sense. Tales of Rein Ravine is a horse game coming out on PC that has more realistic controls, but you are still able to grasp the concept easily, these are just sloppy.
Hey Violet! When I saw prices in ETG I will say I aha, I freaked out a little, but on the contrary, I was super excited for the game, and now, it kinda just sits on my Ipad, I do play it from time to time. 🤠
I would've probably tried this out but my phone's too prone to overheating from how I've heard phones actually handle it and I prefer PC games anyways. Admittedly don't think I'd _be_ too keen on trying it out now even if my phone _could_ handle it just due to the horrible things I've seen/heard about how the mods and ambassadors were treated before the whole thing pretty much exploded. It's a shame, the game has potential. Owners are awful. If the owners (specifically Molly) were respectable then it should've aimed for better graphics on PC. Prices are grossly extortionate and nothing's going to convince me otherwise. Horse games seem to be cursed with the main people behind the game getting greedy and/or refusing to listen to people.

i was waiting for this video, i personally know nothing about the game other than the fact it was one day in the play store so i downloaded it at started playing it.
i was so excited about it since i'm sucker for horsie games but then played for like 3 days and completely forgot about it lmao :D it was so bad, the amount of waiting for everything, expensive stuff/premium currencies, season pass.. and the devs drama now, uh nuh

It all happened in the official ETG Discord server, the devs (Molly mainly) weren't able to take constructive critisism well and ended up kicking out/removing roles from every ambassador and mod (amazing and helpful people which were with the community for years even, just because they enjoyed helping others :')) who seemed to be "negative"- which they weren't, lol. They were worried because it wasn't easy to maintain the whole server by themselves, devs were never really active or interested in the server (even though Molly stated in one of the ETG vids, that thay listen and talk with the community about stuff).
Tip with jumping that might help 😁 So, when jumping when you get to about the maybe half way of the green swipe your finger up on the screen and you should jump perfectly! If not pls do another video and i shall look at it and i will help and try again! ❤️ Good job though Violet 🥰

This game has potential but I don’t like the steering function at all, it’s just too much, I get cramps from games like this. And if the riders looked a little better. So far the best mobile horse game imo has been Rival Stars, I just wish free roam was free and completely open like it is on PC.
I’ve played ETG since the uk realise date (Late March) And I reached Grandprix pretty quick so I don’t have a ton to do 🥲It’s pretty good till you reach that point tho
Yeah me too… I only maxed all the buildings because I was bored, and now all I do is breed and train my horses. The competitions are all the same for any breed or size, so I just stopped 😂 It looks a lot like SSO but I got bored quicker. It took me 4 years of SSO to be bored of it, and one month for ETG… It’s fun at the beginning but the hairstyle, on the horses and rider… yikes. And the price to have decent looking equipment, dear lord !
@@liolikesgrass It took me 7 years to outgrow sso And I’m pretty sure they raised the prices on tack pretty sure a basic black bridle only use to cost 9 coins it’s now 25 coins
I've had this game since like August of last year. It's extremely disappointing to see how this game has turned out. Everything costs so much to even enjoy the game and now theres essentially nothing to do. (The most entertaining thing is to breed horses if u even have enough space for it.)

(that made me so mad bc I had to wait like 4 days and 3h just for a 4y with bad stats)

I've been following this since July, i really like it. I love that theirs a mobile horse game as good as this. It is expensive but they are still developing it. You should cheak out the the road map!
The team can't even handle constructive criticism, muted beta players and other players with problems in the game , then fired their mods when they spoke up and then deleted their discord server. I don't see them getting anywhere with their game with their attitude. Also.. there's people claiming the game made unauthorized purchases on their phone.

if you wanna canter from a halt, just hold down the left arrow for the left lead and same for the right arrow, gotta figure it out somehow

I love this game and its alot better if u do the controls right pushing forward makes them jump
