This song is genuis, and is a window into the heart and mind of Adrian Borland. He was such a beautiful, empathetic, talented and tortured man, who felt things too strongly for his good. He made some of the most powerful, moving, and creative music of the 1980's, The Sound is truly underappreciated, such an amazingly pure and talented band, wow.
I'm not religious at all really but I do absolutely hope Adrian has found rest. Really hope there's a place for him and everyone else who couldn't make it in this world. I miss him every day, and I never even knew him.

The Sound was the most wronged and misunderstood post punk band! The problem is that they had a terrible producer and agent who didn't know how to exploit the band's potential! For me, they are a cult band, and I feel happy to belong to a minority that knows them
