Love your channel and your aesthetic! Hang in there, and remember it’s good to cry and let things out. I am a total introvert and also still suffer from anxiety at 55 so I totally can relate! I feel the exact same way about being home and movie watching lol. I watch the same movies over and over as well because not knowing what is going to happen gives me anxiety. At my age I still love to watch animated movies and I don’t think that will ever change. Be good to you. Everything will work out in the end. You got this!!
I definitely find a good cry helps sometimes! thank you so much it’s comforting to hear other people go through similar things 🥰 definitely makes me feel less alone
Those baby overalls are adorable. You made me think about knitting those next. I like rewatching movies too, especially when I need to concentrate on my knitting, I just let a movie I’ve watched run. I like animations too and I’ve gotta say “Brave” is my favourite. It stays on my watchlist lol.
Brave is one of my favourites as well!! the soundtrack is so beautiful and feels so cozy… I might have to watch it today 😂 let me know if you cast on the baby overalls!
That is what I did with my current wip. I worked night shift for the longest time and that is when I got a lot of my knitting done during the week. It was nice to see all of the progress that I had made in a short amount of time. Now that I have a different schedule I have made a good chunk of progress on my sweater and I don't think that I have worked this fast on a garment. I love that the pattern is easy to memorize and that I can work on it during any down time.
Hello, I’m new here, just led by my algorithm and just kept watching! I’d like to say I was inspired and relaxed by your energy and happy daily routine. I had a very tough time past week (in hospital or working 12 hours a day.) As an older sister who finished grad school a decade ago, I’d like to say that the hard times pass by and you will make it. Those days in school were beautiful, young times, at least for me. I actually cannot get to cry, even when I feel overwhelmed and upset. I think what you are doing is healthy. I need an outlet. Have a great week, it’s Monday!
thank you so so much for all your kind and thoughtful words 🥹 healthcare is definitely a challenging space to work in sometimes but it’s always rewarding at the end of the day 🥰 I’m so glad you enjoyed the video
I also like watching kids' movies, and I'm in my 30s. I love watching Moana, Lion King, and Frozen. 😄 Love listening to the soundtracks of those movies, too. That was such a nasty storm. ⛈️ But your pizza and muffins looked yummy! Your knitting projects look great. 🧶 I casted on The Bessie Scarf while watching.
Hi Hayley nice to meet you! I just found your channel but I'm very much enjoying this vlog so I think I'll stick around😊 Love your aesthetic and the vibe of this video and I'm also a uni student so I perfectly get the frustration and stress it can bring into our lives, thankfully we have knitting to help us with it. I wish you a very lovely week and I guess I'll see you in more videos! ❤❤ Alice
Hello. I have just found but you today. What a lovely podcast. I am in England and old enough to be your Grandma but I did enjoy watching what you have made. I went back and watched your first podcast and will gradually catch up now. My youngest Grand daughter is a mental health nurse and her husband is in the army but she lives close by all the family and doesn't knit. x
Sorry to hear you’ve had a tough week, knitting definitely helps 💐. I also always want to cast on all the things so you must be a process knitter like me- although I occasionally do cross over into a project knitter but not often. I don’t think the Moby is the Moby anymore you’ve created your own design ☺️. Those pink overalls are just divine 💕
thank you so much 🥰 I get crazy cast on energy and I can’t stop 😂 I just saw petite knit is working on a design that’s really similar to my modified moby as well 😂
After deciding the Salty Days sweater KAL wasnt for me, I just kept seeing you and Morgan mentioning it so…I’m off to get yarn for it today. Lol. The power of persuasion. Or it’s just FOMO. I hope everything goes well for you and you feel better mentally. There are always lows but then that means there are going to be highs again. I love the music you had around 40 minutes.
My comfort movies/shows are Harry Potter of course and also Tangled. My shows are Friends and Bones. I hope everything is going okay with the uni stuff and I hope you're still being kind to yourself 🩷
I’m knitting the Garden Cardigan by Ankestrick with some scandi wool. It’s great to see that the yarn will soften and drape on blocking. Maybe it will help calm my frustration at how many knots and bizarre barfs there is in the balls of yarn.
I loved his vlog so much Hayley! Love the cast on energy and I can totally relate! Your dad’s sweater is looking amazing and so cozy! I can’t wait to cast on the Salty Days Sweater, I swatched the other day while watching Morgan and decided that I needed to get something to hold with my bamboo merino yarn so ordered some Holst Garn Coast (cotton merino blend) and can’t wait for it to arrive! How are you liking knitting with the eco cotton? It will look so good in the white!
thank you so so much! has your yarn come in yet??? I can’t wait to see your salty days! 🥰 the eco cotton has been great! hasn’t been drying or hard on my hands at all I’m so excited to finish it up!
@@hayleys_space it hasn’t arrived yet unfortunately and I fear it won’t be here till next week sometime at this stage, but I have plenty of WIPs to keep me busy 😂 thanks for the feedback about the eco cotton yarn, I’ll keep it in mind ☺️
Loved this podcast, you’re so inspiring. I’m thinking of doing the salty days sweater (is it recommended for a semi beginner) I’m still fairly new to knitting. Made many socks and just completed my first raglan. Also *question* what is the placemat or table runner in the background of your salty days gauge swatch reel please?
I definitely think the salty days pattern is one for an adventurous beginner. have you done any lace or cables before?? there’s no time like the present though and it’s definitely worth a go if you want to learn those skills 🥰 the table runner is from Kmart Australia! I’m not sure if they still sell it I’ll have a look!
I am so sorry if you've already shared this, but can you share where those chords are from? The ones for holding knitting? I have never heard of them and I feel like they would be so useful for sweaters!
Currently I am working on a commission for a friend knitting a basic garter stitch scarf. I joined the colourwork cuff club :) inspired by you and @morganunravel ❤

I’ve heard Bones is supposed to be quite a good show maybe I’ll check it out! I do love friends as well and greys anatomy 🥰
@hayleys_space Yes for sure, I haven't watched Greys Anatomy so I might have to start, I've heard good things about it too.

yeah I found scandi wool had heaps of knots and random shit in it!! it definitely softens though 🥰

I would join the knit along but all I need to do is pull it out of hibernation and do the second sleeve.
that’s a perfect excuse to join the knit along! there’s no strict rules so you’re more than welcome to join 🥰
