- I will warn you that by the end of the video, I was not happy and back to the drawing board. It has been totally torn down and redesigned now. New test to come when the weather cools down or I haul some dirt inside from testing into the air-conditioned shop.

Dump truck looks awesome and the bed works perfectly.
it's too hot out to get frustrated with a hobby that's supposed to bring you joy, sounds like it's beer thirty in the AC to me LOL
@jetegtmeier71 I have been trying to get this to work properly since before Antique Acres, and it's still not working properly. This was from Saturday, I said hell no on Sunday and no way Jose today. LOL 😆 😆 😆 I might bring a couple of bucket loads of dirt inside in the A/C to test.
@jetegtmeier71 I have been debating on uploading the video taken following this one. The day went downhill, and I had a minor meltdown at the end. Wasn't a pretty site, but I was hot, bothered, and all around pissed off. 😤
@jetegtmeier71 it was like a tantrum of a pissed off 5 year old with the power of an F5. The only thing hurt was the dump pit itself, I picked up the pieces and threw them in my wagon. I picked up the rest and put it all away, and called it a day.
@@dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796 LOL it reminds me of a time when I was playing Call of Duty, the original, and got so pissed at getting killed all the time that I ended up Twisting a PS2 controller in half, a right and left half LOL
Lol. Yep. Time to do something else
@@mcemtpockets1775 yep, my fuse was getting very short. LOL
Please try putting some kind of chains on the truck tailgate. I know, the dirt will stick and won’t come out like you need it to. But try chains and try to add something that will make the truck bed vibrate so that the dirt won’t stick. Don’t give up on it. That’s just too darn cool to give up
Tailgate chains would at least slow down the flow out of the box but may also restrict it if any rocks are in the load. I also need more pit capacity as well as a regulating door on the output of the conveyor. I built a larger pit dump pit on Sunday with a slide door on the output side. Well over 100 degrees here yesterday and 111 with the heat index today. No mood for testing right now.
@@dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796 I’m getting where I can’t handle hot weather anymore so I don’t blame you. The heat index where I live keeps me inside for the majority of the summer. Which is why I spend so much time on UA-cam. I live vicariously through you and a few other people lol
