I was so excited to learn what mushrooms are edible that I can be more encouraging to walk in the woods in Maine, but... I do hope you can have some vedio to introduce this, please.
We'll be making some specific videos about choice edible species that grow in Maine! This was just more of a recap for our foraging walks! Give us a follow and you'll get notifications when we release new content

I live in Portland Oregon and have a perfect spot (I think) to grow mushrooms outdoors. Between a fence and Leland tree's with basically, no direct sun. Other than a spot and some hay what do I need? Spawn, right? Thanks for your help.
Yeah, some straw or wood chips would be better than hay, then some wine cap or blue oyster sawdust spawn would work best!
When is mushroom season in Maine? Is it basically all year other than when there's snow on the ground?
Many foragers prefer to go out in the late spring/early summer and in the early-mid fall!
@@NorthSpore Ok, Thanks for the answer. :)
Can different species with similar needs be grown in same bed ?
It's not recommended as different species will try to outcompete each other and not completely colonize the bed due to competition.
Great video, the annoying music not withstanding.
We've since learned to tone the music down a bit.
