Wonderfull analysis, one of my favorite interpretations of this waltz is the one by Claudio Arrau, he considered almost all the points you mentioned on his performance

Mr Niemczuk, would you explain what you mean by "elegant and French"? Do you mean embellished? Or light touch? I think I've heard it in some renditions and personally think of it as "french" but not sure I have it correct. You spoke in one video of how Chopin included embellishments (of a sort) in his compositions but they are rarely performed. I loved too, the note about jazz and your demonstration. As always, your presentation and performance is enlightening and beautiful.

Why do you play a c sharp at the end of bar2 of line 4:? Also in the 3rd.section after the trio(line4) - it's nice to bring out the lower notes the 2nd time maybe ,of the RH gflat -c-gflat-c-d-f- etc . welcome your thoughts

There are a few different versions of this Waltz. I have all of them in the National Ekier Edition recommended by the Chopin Institute in Warsaw. That's why!

Dzień dobry, Panie Grzegorzu. W zasadzie przyszło mi do głowy ogólne pytanie dotyczące pańskiego projektu. Zresztą aż sam się dziwię, że dopiero teraz na nie wpadłem. No ale do rzeczy. Czy spośród wszystkich analizowanych utworów znalazły się jakieś, których przed rozpoczęciem przedsięwzięcia Pan w ogóle nie grywał, a po dogłębnym zapoznaniu się z nimi stwierdził, że zawitają w koncertowym repretuarze być może na dłużej?
