Hi Dan great camping video nice big boy breakfast baps I've had one of those for my breakfast they are delicious, thanks Dan for sharing this amazing campaign video enjoyed the video 👍👏
Great mornin breakfast video and cook with the Trangia.I love all of my Trangias but their horrible to clean and Noone to-date has produced a view on cleanup. Thanks for sharing 😊
Just got the Trangia 25 HA (Hard anodized) replaced the pot with the GSI stainless steel one. Planning to go hiking next summer! Looks very good that food
G'day Dan, breaky time here once again; ......mate ........ well worn, but reckon I could smell it through the screen. I've heard the term before; but what on earth is a "bap", is it an acronym for something, or a trendy term for a round roll or some such ? Anyway, love the ol' "cut the snags in half" trick, especially the thick fellas; ensures they're cooked though, crisps up the innards, stops 'em rolling around, takes on other pan flavors, (and lends itself to the addition of herbs/spices if you have a plain job to start with), covers the whole bun like a burger, (of course, melted cheese on top is pretty well mandatory), and provides a flatter platform for all those other ingredients. Um, ...... excuse me, ..................... got some cook'n to do. Cheers Duke.
Looked delicious Dan😋😋 Love my Trangia 27, I have the hard anodized version, makes clean up a bit easier but regardless it's perfect for one or two people. Like how it all fits together with extras in a smallish bag, easy to carry and use. Great piece of kit and video showing it in use, thanks. Enjoy!
Dan the man, mastering the pan agan, yeah I know no poet !, Really made me hungry and I have only just eaten, mate. Nice to see you digging the Trangia, I have the 27,& 25, and I have made a bastardised kind of 23.5 Trangia out of the two pots you get with the 27, much smaller and if made right you can use it the same way as all the big Trangia's. Would love to see you have a go at that bud, plenty of " How too's" on UA-cam. Good video as always mate. Regards Moose
Freezing the bread for an overnight is a neat trick. Your result looks so much better than I'd expected from words like 'big boy-baps'. 😀 Could set the baps cut-side down in the grease for a 'fried slice' effect. Might become a knife-and-fork sandwich for neatness. I was hoping to see how clean-up went with that frying pan. How did it go? Simmer some water in it to loosen up the burnt bits?
Yes, a little simmer and a wipe out with some moss gets the worst of the crud off. Then a proper wash. I did a poached egg on toast video using the trangia and went through the clean up process if you are interested. Find it in my outdoor cooking playlist. Thanks for watching and commenting. Dan

Always a good idea to wait until you arrive at camp before getting your baps out. At least that's what my local Constabulary told me as they unlocked the handcuffs and sent me on my way with a warning! Haven't eaten meat for years but will certainly try a veggy version of this for my next camp breakfast.
@GSIOutdoorsLLC So GSI doesn't just make great bottle-cups? :-) Love that company. No affiliation, they've just been great about my nerdy detailed questions.
roughly how many mls of alcohol to cook a fry up like this? Just got a Trangia and id like to try and work out how much alcohol I need to bring for a multi day trip. thanks for the video.
Top video - thanks for taking the time to do this

Very nicely done Dan. I particularly liked how in a lot of the cooking shots there's a bottle of wine (empty?) in the background.
That was a proper breakfast bap . Looked well nice.
Take care Dan 👌🍳

Could you tell me what fuel you've used please? You did say in the video but it wasn't very clear. Thanks.
Bio fuel.
They are trying to phase out meths here. Bio fuel is supposed to be better for the environment.
Hi, 👍👍
It's so awesome how always seem to have great meals while you are out in nature.
roughly how many mls of alcohol to cook a fry up like this? Just got a Trangia and id like to try and work out how much alcohol I need to bring for a multi day trip. thanks for the video.
I'm fairly sure it was only one full burner I used. It was a while ago.. definitely no more than 2.
Love cooking on my Trangia, but I always think all that effort for two minutes scoffing!
Isn't the plain aluminium a nightmare to clean?
No, it cleans up fine.
QQ - how do you keep the meat chilled?
I take it frozen if I'm travelling with it in a bag for a day.. much more than a day and I take dehydrated food.
Just the sound of that sizzling bacon...a monster brekky butty that! I thought you southerners ate mostly granola n yoghurt for breakfast 🤔
😂😂😂 vegan yogurt 😋
So hungry. I've not eaten for 24 hours.
#MoistCrevice 😊
G'day Lee, I assume a link to ........... "great waterfalls of the UK" ...... ; )
Catch up on your channel soon mate. Cheers Duke.
@Eye of the Tiger Hey Duke 👋 No problem matey I'm cool 😎 👍
Looked decent apart from the cheese 🧀 👌
None of these videos ever show you how they clean up a load of shitty pans in the middle of nowhere. Is it a one meal hit only?
