I find the biggest problem with the import figures is consistency, if I'm paying a premium price I should be getting quality every time. I pay $20 for Hasbro products so I can accept a few misses along the long. My point is I find your reviews very helpful in ensuring I don't waste money on a figure that isn't worth it.
This is precisely why I don't buy many import figures. Sure they usually are pretty good, but if I'm spending upwards of 40 bucks and the figure turns out to be trash, it's just a wasted investment. This is also why I tend to buy imports from second hand sellers. I always find people selling them at least 10 bucks cheaper than usual.
Your reviews have trained my eye well enough that I’ve started to notice some problems before you mention them, like the arms being way to tiny lol
Japanese companies trying to make Western property figures seems to go as well as when Western companies try to make Japanese figures-

Well, mafex makes very high toned figures, for the most part. And Sh figuarts has its misshaps but Iron spider is amazing (new one), all of the iron mans, etc.

Some people are gonna disagree just because it's SH Figuarts, but Hasbro did a MUCH better job.

When people pay a lot more for an SH Figuarts or a super expensive Mafex figure, they will almost always disagree that a much cheaper figure from Hasbro is a better buy.

No matter what people say, this is nowhere near to the Marvel Legends Worthy Captain America figure, which is the best Cap figure in my opinion. Great review, again thanks for always being honest as watching your reviews taught me the difference between actual good and bad figures.
They even messed up the shields by not sculpting the lines that make up each segment of the star in the center. A minor detail but unacceptable at this price point.
I'm not sure if this shield had the lines on the star in the movie. In the scene where Thanos breaks Cap's shield it's in full view but the lines on the star aren't visible.

Honestly a lot of the SH Figuarts MCU stuff are mostly overprice crap, Bandai doesn't even care. When it comes to major properties big brands tend to think that even if they crank out trash.. people will still buy after watching 10x social media influencers lying and boasting on how "amazing" some piece of trash actually is.. just to win some retailer/manufacturer "sponsorships" for that extra insignificant amount of money, I doubt companies are paying action figure channels 10k to push mobile gaming apps.
i know this is a very much anticipated figure and its easy to get caught up in the excitement but thanks for being honest

Eh probably because it does kinda look like battle damage but barely that’s why and the accessories probs saved the fig so that’s prob why he gave it three instead of 1

I don't know if you've been asked this before, but if you have, my bad...also, thanks AGAIN for speaking how you truly feel in all of your reviews. It is very much appreciated. Anyway, my question is; what do you do with figures like this? I know you purchase your figures with your own funds like most of us, so when you get a figure that you're THIS disappointed in, do you keep it as is, repaint and/or re-sculpt it, or do you try to sell it? Sorry, that was more like 2-3 questions. Just curious. Thanks again for your awesome reviews. Been a while since you posted a custom review, hopefully we'll get to see one soon.
Thanks for the support. I sell stuff like this on eBay to recoup at least some of what I spent. I'm not doing customs right now since I'm doing things like the custom heads and accessories and developing my own full action figure line.

Figure is pretty mediocre. I picked one up cause I missed the first one and I liked the hammer and lightning. I think the effect parts and the hammer save it for me as it’s on the shelf doing some battle poses with others.
But I would have liked a non gross muted look on my only captain America.

No joke, the white wash makes it look cheaper than a marvel legends. It makes the plastic look so weak and thin
I see that this figure looks like if a third party company was trying to make a knock-off of a SH figuarts. I’m glad I didn’t Pre-order this figure.

Other collectors on youtube are rating this figre as a good fig (BS) thanks for keeping it real, these other reviewes must getting money or free figs from these companies to trick us.
I like the figure. I just wanted a good mcu cap and this fits the buck for me. Not a fan of the "dirty" look. I wish I couldve bought the 1st release while it was still relatively cheap. I hate the "dirty" ironman colors as well. Still like it. The articulation is great on them both imo.

Aesthetically the diamond select civil war cap looks way more final battle dirty in natural kinda way
I feel like any time you give a figure a 3/10 in some aspect, there needs to be the insert of the classic footage of you throwing a figure box into the toilet, from either the Dick Grayson Batman or Red Hood review. (Can’t recall at the moment which vid it came from)
They should've just made his suit his normal Red, white, and Blue, but made it battle damaged and look kinda dirty. I don't know what they were doing here.

MAFEX’s Captain America looks incredible. There is no excuse that Bandai broke up Cap into 2 releases. He should’ve been one especially with how much he Re uses.

Man, things have changed. They're definitely dipping in quality these days. Beside the non resemblance to Evans , to not have any shading in the head makes zero sense since he's supposed to be grimy and dirty all over. Very happy I don't collect these.

this guy goes way to hard on his reviews. I fell like he doesn't understand that they are going for that look and pursuit in a amazing way. This action figure is literally called the final battle captain america. This guy makes me fell bad overtime I blow my allowance to buy one of these action figures and just says a whole bunch of bad comments on it. It truly hurts.
You don't seem to understand the purpose of reviews. They aren't to make you feel good about a purchase. They are to give you information so you can spend your money wisely. If a review makes you feel bad, it just goes to show you spent your money on something you regret. Maybe use the review ahead of time as it's intended to prevent yourself from buying bad products.

It’s just a repaint if the original release, but with extra accessories this time. You’re right that the figure itself is kind of ugly, but posing it with the hammer/shield will save it. Still waiting for mike to arrive.

I agree with you on the “battle damage” detailing. I could definitely do without it. The accessories are the selling point on these final battle figures. The spiderman final battle looks sick, and the iron man final battle is alright, but the main selling point is definitely the accessories.

Btw... so Bandai puts out a what ~$100 figure like this that is just crap, and then they turn around and make the recent Gashapon Asian Hornet/wasp figures that are HUGE, highly articulated, and cost only 500 yen.

I have to agree about Hasbro producing a far superior figure. For the last year or 2 I noticed SHFiguarts really declined in quality. Your rating was way too generous lol
when it comes to like any live action styled figures, figuarts always drop the ball. this is why I think their dragon ball line is so much better, it's way easier to do animated than live action
Their Kamen Rider stuff is still top-notch too

Easy pass! Not ideal, but got the Endgame one cheap and picked up the Manipple head and Nota Studio broken shield/hammer pack. Figures are so bad we have to make our own 😭

I bought this fig and the Endgame iron man mk 85 final battle, this fig is garbage, I paid £90 for no waist articulation a bad head sculpt, when I hold his arm forward using the hammer with the long lightning it drops, the paint job is a mess and the shield clip falls off. I really feel shf have taken the pi*s out of me and I won't be buying any more of these final battle movie avengers.

Really glad I had not pre-ordered this. From the neck up it looks like a completely different figure, how did the not see that? Easy pass especially since Marvel legends brings out a new cap every two waves it seems and I now have enough of them it's starting to look like the clone saga up in here.
