You should have heard those from the 80s 90s era!! Brutal crazy men grunting growling very fiercely, cuz back then football was more brutal more of a manly mans sport!!!
I’m 68+ been a ram fan my whole life got autographs from the fearsome foursome. had many ram teams through the years that have got me pumped up only to be let down every time (Can’t count St. Louis teams)..... i’m getting pumped up again. This weekend is Big. Looking for the Rams to have a strong game, it’s time
70 and a Ram fan for life including St Louis. Estatic when they returned to my home town. This is there best coach/owner combination yet. Like our chances.
@@danstvguy Became a fan of the LA RAMS as a 9 year old in December of 1967 when I came in from playing outside and caught the end of the Saturday regular season game against the Packers. Got settled on the floor in front of the COLOR TV and saw that Green Bay was winning with not much time on the clock. Of course they were. This is my earliest memory of watching a pro football game but this 9 year old had heard of Vince Lombardi's GREEN BAY PACKERS. Well, this 9 year old heard the LA Coliseum crowd in the ensuing moments after Tony Guillory blocked Donnie Anderson's punt and Roman Gabriel hit Bernie Casey for the game-winning TD pass. At that point, I was hooked for life. And I was overjoyed when they won SB XXXIV but to see them back HOME and win Super Bowl LVI is beyond compare.
@@OBESPRING1982 A lot of those Rams got into show business after football. Rosie Grier, Merlin Oldon, and Bernie Casey played a gargoyle in a TV movie.
What a great pick up signing Big Whit was. Man he’s a beast. Actions speak louder than words. He always brings it!!! Every great team needs a bad offensive lineman and he’s a bad man!!!
Whit is the rock. Bet he helps all of our young O line with his experience and wisdom. Gotta have a sage vet that can still ball out on the O line. One more year Whit!
A great offensive lineman is rarely noticed during a game. Watching him play at this level is incredible. I don’t realize how great big whit truly is and only complain when he has the occasional penalty . Seeing this video changes the way I view him. He is a hall of famer.
No one more intimidating than a 6'7" Southerner in the NFL. No one more respectful and respected than a 6'7" Southerner in the NFL. Great man, great career, great legacy. I am not an Rams fan but I am a a fan of players who conduct themselves the same way on and off the field.
I could watch big Whit all day. 40 years old with textbook pass pro and then pancaking the younger guy(s) - 1:50. Yelling for the loud guy who's been mouthing off then disappears after an L (like the clowns on youtube). Then at the end his great player relations with the opposing team and all the respect. Glad to have him on our team!
You Rams fans will get used to Stafford and love him. He's the King of the 4th quarter comeback. Doesnt matter what he's done all game. He had 34 4th quarter comebacks with THE LIONS. Think about that the effing Lions....
it really seems like the rams have been in the "gotta win this year" for a couple of years now. then i thought about it an the reason is Whitworth. he cannot be easily replaced
It's interesting, when you're a young hothead you might not be too friendly after a game. But after like 20 years, you've become like an elder statesman and you know everyone and so it's always a reunion.
Everybody loves Whit.
He's either a future coach or analyst when he retires. You can bet on that.
Facts
I’m going to say he’s the next Mark Shlereth
Whit is easily the best signing during McVay's tenure. He is an absolute beast and my favorite player on the team!!!
Easily. The leadership, the smarts, the character, the coaching ability, plus being the best LT around have been invaluable.
I love when offensive linemen are mic'd up. You really hear the hits and the grunts & growls.👍🏻
You should have heard those from the 80s 90s era!! Brutal crazy men grunting growling very fiercely, cuz back then football was more brutal more of a manly mans sport!!!
A big man with a big heart, 40 years old and still bringing it every game. Glad you are on this team.
Gotta love big Whit looking for that loud fan after the W!
