My Wife and I went to school for Natural Resources and she had a real country girl for a roommate.
This lady was something special we used to call her “Jackie Queen of the Rednecks” , as she was head of the Fish and Wildlife club and every cowboy at that college would try and get in her good graces.
Every time I hear this song I think to myself…that could be her.
So moving and emotional 😭
Another Beautiful written and composed piece by this poet laureate.

I can’t believe it has already been nearly 3 years since Horses and Hounds was released. The album is nothing short of a masterpiece, great that he’s still getting traction with recordings like this.
