What makes this clip so incredible is that they both messed up very hard but somehow hbox died. First Amsa ASDI's behind HBox's Pound by accident because he's holding up-back to hit the Up-B. Amsa airdodges back to stage because it's his only option after wasting double jump off ledge. Hbox misinputs a full hop instead of a short hop. When Amsa lands he shields for exactly 1 frame after endlag which might be a misinput as well. Hbox rests at the apex of his fullhop, continuing the misinput. Amsa, jabs out of shield which is assumed to be a misinput by his response. Hbox, looks away from the screen and starts flicking his cstick, not realizing he can recover. It's like they both shut their brains off at the exact same moment. Incredible.
Puff was at 175% and missed a rest in front of Yoshi. Hbox was like "welp, I'm dead" and immediately turned around probably to talk to someone, and expecting to have their stock ended in the next second from a forward smash. Unbeknownst to them, aMSa choked and accidentally performed a single jab instead of a smash, but that was enough to push jigglypuff off-stage, and since Hbox wasn't looking at the screen he didn't realize he wasn't dead yet. He faced the screen again right as puff fell through the bottom blast zone. In the grand scheme of things this doesn't change much to the game since Hbox had already accepted their death for that stock, but it's hilarious nonetheless.

They have game audio so he could hear himself not die and jigglypuff make nairing sounds as he naired while falling to death and 2. When looking back at the screen and seeing he died at the bottom instead of amsa smash attack he didn’t seem surprised at all
He missed his rest, assumed he was dead and just started mashing a couple buttons and looked away. For some reasons amsa didn’t punish and hbox wasn’t paying attention so he naired to his death

@@SuperShado101 you have to depress Z (or A i guess but your thumb is p busy) during the beginning of the attack and then you can charge and release with Z. its not all that useful since its a bit tight (ish).

One of them has a bunch of quality of life mods to it and is capable of remapping jump to the z button. From what I understand, Cody Schwab (the artist formerly known as IBDW) as well as a lot of other players are upset about people using certain types of controllers, saying that it is giving them an unfair advantage over players who are not. Melee as a pro game allowed the box he made because of his story and how much the community wanted him to be able to play the game that destroyed his hands. This led to any controller essentially being required to be allowed as the box makes many macro inputs and perfectly precise inputs with a simple button press. This led to our current state where players like Cody are good because his controller allows for completely absurd perfect inputs he could never do consistently. Couple this with his character having an insanely high skill ceiling past human limits and you have a broken fox running amok that's basically a cyborg playing. Some players have joined the controller wars and some haven't. Long story short, players like I be sucking dongs want to gatekeep their skill level attained with the controllers by saying they're op and broken. Which they are. But that point is to obfuscate not because they actually want them gone. There is also the side note of monetary investment to play a game competitively. I think it was something like less than 1 in 10 GameCube controllers were even considered usable for melee as snapback in the sticks can ruin many basic techniques and dead zones that made shield dropping facing one direction impossible. So integrity was compromised for longevity of gane life and reduced monetary investment (although on the top pro level it's still quite expensive for many players to maintain controllers).
