After watching the first two ep, my opinion abt the drama is dat it's really good. The whole concept and theme. No cringe romance but mature love. Also their lives as bank employees is nicely being portrayed instead of getting sidelined by the love story. The importance of social status in Korean society is something I wasn't aware of n so this drama taught me something new about the Korean society. The male lead looks really hot and his acting is top notch. I'm interested in the actor now. The soundtrack is also really good n caught my attention. Overall, I'm gonna keep watching it. 👍
I watched it without any expectations but so far I am enjoying it. I am not super interested in the romance in this kdrama, but I find myself rooting for the female lead most of the time. She's pretty much the underdog because she does not have a college degree. Even her beauty is more often an obstacle for her (attracting harassment etc). She is the kind of character that is flawed, and some people might even say she is toxic, but flawed characters are the best and the most realistic imo. Props to Moon Gayoung and the rest of the cast

The main girl has a big defensive mechanism but they are both similar. It’s just the guy is more open in a very small way lol to try a relationship. Watch this drama. Until right now it’s really good

I'm not too sure how I feel about this plot. Complicated love stories that could be overly simplified if there was better communication and a dash of courage are so frustrating to watch, because why are you simply against your happiness?? No one can make a decision that they can take responsibility for and follow through on. The back and forth makes me dizzy. But trailers don't show all there is to it. So because the cast is phenomenal and I know I can rely on the acting, I will give this drama a shot!

Just watched the 3rd episode. "Liking someone comes with responsibilties"...Mi Geyoung falls deeper in love (I suspect she has liked him for quite some time) when she hears Sang Su said this. And then Su Yeong said "my happiness came with responsibilities" ... i m still figuring out what she means by it

When I watched the female lead looked down by her coworkers just because she didn't go to university,i felt like watching myself. Of course i am not as pretty as her. But our situation kinda the same. So,my job is a student's assistant. I am high school graduate. Most of parents didn't make me as their kid's assistant because of this issue. While,some trusted me with my ability. But i proved them wrong. The children that i helped with their study,most of them now are the best in their class or even in their schools. The parents are thankful,but for many i don't have the same values as those with university graduates.

Very different role for this actor. But from what I have read elsewhere (written by ppl who read the novel), it may not end the way we (ML) want hence the melo genre.
Think I'm gonna have one of the worst second lead syndrome while watching it (unless the writer make Su yeong end up with Jong-Hyun at the final ep). Jong hyun's mindset and attitude towards life is simply the perfect match for Su yeong, and vice versa. I bet in the real life, many mature women who has the same life condition as Su yeong (more or less) will end up choosing a life partner like Jong hyun, as they will be a more suitable partner in nurturing a safe relationship that can makes the one in it feels valued, loved and trusted. Sang su is.. too dark and complicated for her :")

Sueyong closed her bank account to pay for his father's surgery when her own mom with her hurtful limping leg required treatment as well. He even has the nerve to complain that he can have laughs and so much fun with that study group girl whereas with Su Yeong not so much. The epitome of his betrayal we'll see in episode 12 when they show the preview of his violent tendencies knocking out a co-worker and disrespecting Su Yeong's dignity ruining her reputation at her workplace... All because of gossip and rumors... Accusing her of sleeping around in front of all of Su Yeong's colleagues at her workplace. A true winner. LOL

Great acting, writing (plot, dialogue, character developement). I'm halfway through, but I already know two things: 1) It's going to rate right up there with my two favorite Kdramas (Crash Landing on You & Run On). 2) I can also tell that, when introduced, the character I thought I would hate is now my favorite. In a plot that includes 4 decent, likeable characters, My-kyung (Keum Sae-rok) REALLY stands out. But the storyline actually has me yelling at Sang Su on my TV something like,"Dude, you don't know how lucky you are! Wake up and smell the coffee!"

Leaving out important details in your life is the same as lying!!! The rich girl kept asking about Sang Su's love life, and asked others about that as well! Sang Su even asked Mi Gyeong a few times "Who did you give your heart to while in college?" She did not answer. Then her snide remarks to others about him! Talking about their intimate life as a couple, belittling Sang Su, saying he's so boring, etc. She's a b*tch! She is entitled, manipulative, and controlling. The rich girl is ashamed of Sang Su's less stylish attire. The nerve this rich girl has!!! To me, she looks so old, boring, and not at all stylish! The ankle-length long dresses and the flat shoes she wears are fit for a grandma, and definitely NOT SEXY!!! She keeps hurting Sang Su's feelings when dissing Sang Su's older car (at the wedding while waiting for her ride you can see her attitude when others get picked up in foreign expensive cars). So, what does she do? She buys him an expensive latest fashion suit and a new car. He felt like a KEPT MAN and refused the car. All this to impress her rich friends when she introduces him to them. Not an attractive and lovable woman to me!!!

He even has the nerve to complain that he can have laughs and so much fun with that study group girl whereas with Su Yeong not so much. The epitome of his betrayal we'll see in episode 12 when they show the preview of his violent tendencies knocking out a co-worker and disrespecting Su Yeong's dignity ruining her reputation at her workplace... All because of gossip and rumors... Accusing her of sleeping around in front of all of Su Yeong's colleagues at her workplace. A true winner. LOL

Great acting, writing (plot, dialogue, character developement). I'm halfway through, but I already know two things: 1) It's going to rate right up there with my two favorite Kdramas (Crash Landing on You & Run On). 2) I can also tell that, when introduced, the character I thought I would hate is now my favorite. In a plot that includes 4 decent, likeable characters, My-kyung (Keum Sae-rok) REALLY stands out. But the storyline actually has me yelling at Sang Su on my TV something like,"Dude, you don't know how lucky you are! Wake up and smell the coffee!"
@David Roxell "Dude, you don't know how lucky you are?!" WHAT?! Personally, I would not touch her with a 10-foot pole,,, The rich girl and his BEST FRIEND betrayed him from the start!!! They were lovers in college and they hid that fact from him!!! An old college friend told Sang Su about what happened while Sang Su was away in the military. Leaving out important details in your life is the same as lying!!! The rich girl kept asking about Sang Su's love life, and asked others about that as well! Sang Su even asked Mi Gyeong a few times "Who did you give your heart to while in college?" She did not answer. Then her snide remarks to others about him! Talking about their intimate life as a couple, belittling Sang Su, saying he's so boring, etc.
She's a b*tch! She is entitled, manipulative, and controlling. The rich girl is ashamed of Sang Su's less stylish attire. The nerve this rich girl has!!! To me, she looks so old, boring, and not at all stylish! The ankle-length long dresses and the flat shoes she wears are fit for a grandma, and definitely NOT SEXY!!! She keeps hurting Sang Su's feelings when dissing Sang Su's older car (at the wedding while waiting for her ride you can see her attitude when others get picked up in foreign expensive cars). So, what does she do? She buys him an expensive latest fashion suit and a new car. He felt like a KEPT MAN and refused the car. All this to impress her rich friends when she introduces him to them. Not an attractive and lovable woman to me!!!
