Hopefully there won't be bulldozer Bottas again.
Maybe his best pole yet
Enormous pressure of the home crowd and no Drs on the straight. Flawless absolutely Flawless
and in one corner he accidentally upshifted from 4th to 6th gear making him accelerate slower.
Lol almost got out qualified by a slower car, and with Lewis missing fp2 🤦♂️ absolute luck, absolutely.
@@deezelkane Yeah absolute luck mate, absolute luck. Keep telling yourself that
@@Martijn245 0.038 with the fastest car and home ground, and Lewis with less practice 😂
@@deezelkane Love to know all your inside information about which car is faster. Also 2 reasons for the small difference, DRS failure and an extra upshift due to bumps. Otherwise gap wouldve been a few tenths
I’m telling you. The Red Bull isn’t as fast as Max is making it look. The rotation he’s getting out of it and controlled oversteer in corners is mind blowing. Like Nico said “it’s magical”
Perez:Albon/Gasly are the perfect support of your argument.
And you can‘t say with Perez that it is because he is inexperienced.

@hiephiephoera despite probably being one of the greatest max fans outside of the netherlands, i honestly think russell is the greatest current driver, then max, then leclerc or gasly, and then, if anyways, there is lewis
@@reinholdbeck7097 come on, russel so far has only proven really exceptional on saturdays. Way too early to call him the best driver on the grid yet, for that we would have to see him perform in a top team in high pressure situations with a competitive teammate consistently.
GIO in P7 was the real star performance in this quail!
Everyone talking about the DRS failure on the last sector, but the shift from 4 to 6 at turn 3 probably cost him even more time. Still great run :)
thats right when everything went right he was 0.20 faster
Craziest part is that Max's DRS wasn't even activated on that last lap.
His drs failed u can see its a little bit open
Only on the final sector, he used it in on the start and on the second sector
@@rewp234 luckily the final straight on Zandvoort is a very short one
.15 lost there according to Karun
Also lost some time in one of the corner where he accidently chsmged from 4th to 6th, so all in all, gap should have been wider to 2nd place
This is one of the best tracks and qualifying sessions ever. Cars just fly and the drivers squeeze out the last drops of that power.
Last flying lap, Max his DRS was not working on the last DRS zone, otherwise the gap would be bigger. So a stunning lap!!
Why it didn't work?

Get well soon, Kimi. Welcome back to F1, Robert.
The sound of favs cheering has given me goosebumps
Big brain Mazepin understands that no grid penalty could hurt him so he didn’t hesitate to capitalize on it.
Schumacher fault
Schumacher ignored team orders and jentleman agreement. This is the reason of accident in Q1
Poor seb had the acceleration

Classic tracks are just great. Designed into the flow of the landscape, instead of just being designed.
F1 cars are an exemption, but Zandvoort allows for really close racing with multiple lines to choose from.
Yes amazing track
Only think I don’t like about it is that some sectors are way too tight, would be very challenging for any overtakes

What an epic support from the crowd for the Dutchman..
And what an epic disgrace of boos for Hamilton. I sat across from the podium in Phoenix 91 (no, I'm not British) where Senna won the second race following Suzuka 1990. No one around me thought he deserved to be entered in the race or even the season, but we gave him the respect he deserved for his performance on that day.
