I'm a Dons fan, but i have to say, those saying this is the worst Rangers team ever, are just overly emotional (as fans of all clubs can be). Rangers are in a similar position to ourselves, in that they're rebuilding. They haven't had a settled set up for a number of years now(just like us). They've gone through Managers for fun in recent years(just like us). They need the time to build solid foundations. The unfortunate thing for either of the Old Firm is, that when one or other are rebuilding, and the other is flying, then they don't get time to get it right. Celtic have been in a similar position to this, where Managers come and go, and they just can't seem to get it right. The worst thing Rangers could do now, is sack Clement, as they'll be right back to square one. The next Manager would have to muck through with the players he has until January, perhaps look to unload one or two, and bring one or two in. He might not like certain players, so he's then looking to rebuild again in the Summer, and so the cycle continues. Meanwhile, Celtic are settled, they're spending more money, the gap between the clubs widens, and the new Manager is then moved on quickly, and a new Man brought in...
In short, they have to trust that Clement will get this rebuild right. Keeping him in place isn't going to widen the gap, it might not narrow it initially, but it won't widen. Sacking him will widen the gap.
Drumming up alot of pish as usual. Most fans with a brain cell know it's a rebuild won't be done in 1 window
