As a child I heard names like O'Connor, Brenner, Rehnquist, Stevens... and even though I didn't understand the full implications of their decisions, I got a sense that the grown ups around me felt the justices were committed to integrity, the rule of law, justice for all, and ruled in line with the Constitution. 40+ years later, my perception is shattered. These justices are political hacks and no longer hold the values that earned my respect in decades past.
