I had the same situation when I bought the Mini Zipped Bayswater in Teak last year. The website said it was made in the UK but the label in the bag was the same as on your tote bag. This has never happened before. All other bags I bought over the years which said 'made in England ' also said so on the label.
Thanks for sharing. I wonder why there is such a discrepancy on the website? I asked customer service to find me another Bayswater tote in the US that is made in England and she couldn't. I wonder if it is because I purchased in the US?
@@angeleyn I don't think it is because you bought it from the US website. As far as I know a certain bag style in a certain colour is made in the same factory. For example my Mini Zipped Bayswaters in Poplin blue and eggshell are both made in England, but not the one in teak. I think in both your and my case it was simply a mistake on the website. On other occasions when I bought a Mulberry bag the description was always correct and I could rely on it. Are you returning your bag?
It is a beautiful handbag. I even heard recently that some Louis Vuitton bags are outsourced and returned to the supposed country of origin towards the very end. Personally, if you can use the handbag I would keep it. Totally lovely.
True - the handbag is pretty! Since I already have a Bayswater tote I wanted another one only if I can compare the different manufactured locations. Will think about it! Thanks for sharing.
Your tote is a lovely colour. I’ve bought Mulberry for over a decade and it hasn’t made any difference being made in different countries. The quality remained the same for my purchases. I’m interested to hear your findings. Have a great day.

I have been in touch with Mulberry's customer service who said they do have Bayswater tote that are made in the UK and some not. She tried looking for one made in UK for me but found none in the entire US. I am trying to see if she can find any other similar bags in the meantime. Let's see!
I was really shocked to see that your bag was made in Turkey! I have a few mulberry bags and always believed them to be made in the U.K ... I am going to look for the lables and see what they say now.
The sale started earlier and I think I saw a few items still at reduced price but many items are sold already. I will try to post again the next time there is a sale!

How is the wear on the corners? All the preloved ones I have seen have a lot of wear in the corners.

The online sale has ended, but you should call the outlet and see what they have. There are a few mulberry outlets in the USA.
