I was thinking the same thing. Most cats get used to it and just play but Yoshi wants everyone to be awake with him.
Cats are categorised as crepuscular, not nocturnal. This means they are most active at dawn and dusk, so they are not awake all night as are nocturnal animals.😺
Yeah, my Yuki let's me sleep, but is SO happy for morning snuggles❤
mine wouldn't understand being locked out of the bedroom at night, most of mine have slept with me since they were just kittens. The two that I have now have been with me since they were 11 weeks old, and are now 6 months old, and sleep on the bed with me most nights, but sometimes they go cuddle on the cat tree.

Oh my gosh, is this was the meowing hour is like? My brother said one of their family cats (who rarely made a sound in front of us) would get up nightly from 1am to 2am for what he called The Meowing Hour, and if this is it that has to be so scary when you’re not expecting it! LOL

My niece had a rag doll cat Nicodemus who passed away two years ago. Yoshi reminds me of how whenever I stayed over, Nic would wake me up in the mornings with his meows if he thought I was sleeping too late.

Yoshi is adorable even when he sounds forlorn! My two were never this vocal at night, and they really settled down from kittenhood. It's easier to stay asleep but sometimes I do miss the sweet persistent meows! I've heard that ragdolls are especially talkative.

Poor baby has separation anxiety. Can Yoshi sleep in your bed at night? This is what my ragdoll cat does. She likes to sleep at my husband's feet. She has terrible separation anxiety, too. She runs to me for comfort whenever my husband leaves the house. I think Yoshi is sensitive like my ragdoll cat, Angel. It is just a thought. ❤🙏

I'm fascinated how Yoshi goes to different areas to yowl at the walls etc. When he moved into his new home he walked around during the day testing how it would sound yelling in different areas. Love you Yoshi.
