Now that I've noticed the parallels between the Dani/Sophie and Dani/Gigi driving scenes. Dani driving represents the fact that she always had to "take care" of other people (her father and later Sophie), having "control" of the situation. With Gigi, this loop is broken and who "takes care" of Dani is Gigi herself, who drives the car symbolizing this, that she is the one who has "control" of the situation. And the most beautiful thing is to see Dani losing barriers as the season progresses and surrendering to what she feels for Gigi and letting herself be taken care of. A love story even more beautiful when we realize the subtle details.

I have a theory about their first kiss too. It starts to rain and contrary to every cliché romance, Dani pulls Gigi out of the rain to kiss her. I take this as a symbol that she wants a mature relationship with Gigi, something for real, like she said before kissing.
