Here is my quick review of The Abu Garcia Revo Toro Beast. It is a great reel and has performed well with the Muskies. I hope you enjoy it!!! Please don't forget to like and subscribe!!!!
A little update I made an error and these are The Revo Toro Beast 60. The rods are medium heavy as well. Sorry about that. It has been a grind this week and I was tired but the specs are all right and the functionality is the same. They are great either way.
Your right about the fatigue! Good to know that reel helps out with that some. Big lures are a work out to toss around for the day! Thanks for the making the correction in the update below. Looking forward to some large catches with those lures. Tight Lines from Rick & Jim at R & J Bass Fishing
Ya we had a tough time. Only a 36" but the muskies were in extremely shallow just sitting with each other. I would say spawning but it's so late and water temps were in the low 70's. The one we caught was extremely beat up and she was definitely just done spawning. Seems like the weather was so unusual. There was ice less than a month ago and now water in the 70's. I will say I used small jerkbaits for the early season however, they were a heavy load to cast and I lasted 9 hours. Never would have happened with the old round Abu's!! Thanks for the support man!!! I came over to your channel and shot ya a sub. Great work over on your channel!!!
Hi, I want buy one of these reels but im just unsure what gear ratio to buy? Why didnt you chose the higher ratio which is I think 6.4.1.. is the low speed better over the high speed and why? I really need to know which to choose. Il be casting for pike. Thanks
Messenger 88 I got the lower gear ratio due to the large size of baits I throw. Higher gear ratio is faster but it will be rough on your forearms especially if you are out for long periods. I typically fish for minimum 5-6 hours. The higher gear ratio would be really difficult to do that. Nothing wrong with the higher gear ratio but if you plan on throwing especially cowgirls, go with the lower gear ratio. Hope that helps.
No wiggle at all man!!!! Just take it off and check it. If it still wiggles, take it back because it should be very solid!!! Hope you figure that out. Good luck!!!
I have the same reel and exact same problem with the wiggle after I put the power handle on. It drives me nuts, and here I thought I was the only one...
Bob Kau there is a little distance plate that usually sticks to the inside of the original dual handle when you take it off, maybe that little plate is still on your dual handle
JKV Outdoors I assume you tried this already but on mine I just had to Re tighten the nut a little after I used it the first time. I have two and have not had any further issues. I still like my Tranx 400’s a lot more. But they’re pricey.
No problem. They are great lures. Over rocks is where I like em a lot. My only critique is you gotta have some spare tails especially if you get a big one.
The drag washers are dry from the factory. I do not lube my drag washers and have never had an issue however; some do use special drag washer lube for them. I just have never done this and have not had any problem. If you are a salt water person, maybe it would be more critical. Different opinions on this topic definitely. Good question though.

Does your handle wiggle? I just bought one and it wiggles after I changed it to the power handle :/

If it wiggles, it may be that the nut is stripped.
My REVO SX wiggles now because i stripped the but putting it back on

Nice boat....
I heard the 50 & 60 is the same size ? It the spool thats a different size ?
They are different sizes. The 60 is larger and can handle more line. For what I do, I don't need that much line.
Hi what is the black lure with the orange tail? Great video by the way I’ve just purchased the 601 here in the uk thanks
It’s a phantom lures soft tail. They are great lures.
Adventures Midwest thank you

@@adventuresmidwest3065 they are great until you use a hellhound
Does anyone know what the hot perch glider is?
Scott Norvell it’s a phantom lures soft tail. They are great!
Adventures Midwest thanks. The black one is but I don’t think the green was is. Great vid.
nice
Do you need drag washer lubrication in this class reels? ( Toro Beast, Toro S)
