She really doesn't deserve it, the woman can not only sing, she is also a solid member of TWICE's dance line too. And the poor girl spent half her life training to debut, she was already a trainee at JYPE when Super Junior & Big Bang debuted (2006)... she was 8 years old.

a main vocalist isn't all has highnotes, but a singer it can sing without out note from them song. Then for high note more complete if a singer has it skill. Example have to taeyon, eunji, solar, wendy, yuju gfriend, they can play lownote or highnote, and jihyo for lownote and highnote need hardwork, because them skill vocal to jazz with middle note....Iam sorry my english weird, I also them studied. Jihyo twice fighting.
I'm not a once and I only watched a few clips of sixteen but jihyo literally had the best outlook on the hate and criticism she got that she did NOT deserve literally and I seriously admire her bc she has that voice, charisma, charm, and understanding personality we stan a queen

So... let me explain, people hate so much on her because her voice is not as squeaky as others, her voice is deeper, that doesn't means she's not hitting all the notes other idols can, that's one of the reasons people occasionally say that Nayeon should be main vocal, when she struggles to hit some of the notes Jihyo doesn't, her voice is not as deep as Jihyo's and people confuse that with voice power, Jihyo is technically one of the best vocals in the 3rd generation, along with Rosé and Solar, this last one having a similar voice to Jihyo BUT the difference is that Jihyo is in Twice, Twice is always the punching bag sadly, i honestly came here cause someone told me "Jihyo is my bias but she's not close to Rosé and Solar" and i completely disagree, i've been watching videos and yes, of course they sound different because not evey voice is the same, but the notes they are hitting, how loud they are is practically the same, being the difference only because the song intends to be that way...
