suppose I have bought ETF through MTF margin in Kotak neo , and if ETF down by certain % let say 10 % will kotak neo auto square off my position or not ?
As you said I also want to do averaging as any ETF gets down and keep buying every dip until I got profit % it can take 100 days may be or more

First of all thank you gaurav saini ji for asking this question - it's is very important questions.
Yes as you have to put almost 1/4 (25%) of your money and 3/4 (75%) will be margin given by kotak Neo app on very low interest.
Now until any ETF goes down get down until it's taking all your 25% money (fall of ETF price + interest per day paid + pledge charges (generally 20 to 25 rupees for buy and sell)) it will not get auto square off.
The other thing is i always say do not invest all the money at the same time. Keep some money (it depends upon you 10% or 30% whatever you like) to do the average down.
MTF is safe if you have expertise in position sizing. That I am going to cover in the next part.

Ek aur baat jab bhi MTF me kuchh buy kariye to humesha pledge karna hota hai. Sham ko mail and sms aayega broker ki taraf se. Pledge kar lijiyega varna MTF cash me badal jayega.

If u don't use mtf in sectoral etf thn don't worry till fall of 15%. Apart from covid n 2008....Broad Market index or thematics or smart beta don't fall more thn that.
