Instead, you have to stand there and feel endless amounts of guilt and depression coming from the girls. The worst part, you don't really break up with any of them. They just become doubtful and depressed. All because of you. The MC then went on to spend most of the night crying and eating special chocolates.

All of your girlfriends in the Investigation Team go after you...but it's too late... But in all seriousness, MC is a jackass in this route, but at least he isn't Makoto from the School Days anime...

I was actually in a similar situation in high-school. I just realized that. Four people. I had my reasons. But man, sometimes I feel bummed by it. Why do the Persona games make me reflect the most? Best games in a long time, I say.
That one was definitely the heaviest. Naoto knew. And you could tell she wasn't even judging you - she was stopping herself. It just makes it all even heavier on you.
Stores? More like just throws them away somewhere in between the scenes, because, eh, theyre too sweet? He's got no pockets? Whatever. After he's done with the girls, he spends whole evening casually gluing together those robot model kits. Drama free.
The best guess I can make is that he leaves the window to his room open, and every time he gets chocolate from a girl he passes by his home and tosses it in through the open window, before going to see the next one. Because travelling in P4 (especially between the city/beach and the town) doesn't seem to take any time at all =P
"Please take your candy and go home!" Hahaha I know Yukiko didn't mean it in a bad way, but the way she said it made it sound like "take your consolation candy, give up, go home, and try not to cry too badly" But damn, these scenes hit you right in the feels.

I love the characters in Persona 4! I think Yosuke Kanji Rise and Naoto are may favorites... Also Chie's new voice is growing on me! Still sounds off but she's fine! And I'm pretty sure Rise had the best performance from her voice actor followed closely by Naoto.
All the scenes were painful to watch but Naoto's hit home with the whole "I'm a failure for someone who claims to be after the truth". She's not my girl of choice (she's actually last on my list) but damn that one hit home!

I should mention that you CAN date Marie on the side if you want and it doesn't effect your Valentine's Day negatively because apparently Marie's epilogue is mandatory. Of course you can friendzone her too and still get a friendship scene

This game still lets you screw around, in fact you will get more out of your playthrough if you go pimp mode since you have access to all the scenes.
