I usually don't like this kind of mix, but it is the exception that proves the rules! Congratulations for this! Dimash often repeated that Lara was one of the main source of inspiration and they form a powerful and complementary duet thus far. I love both of them.

So nowadays her version sounds tame in comparison. However there is one thing that stands out in this performance - her purety and consistency. She doesn’t challenge her voice or take risks with her tone or breath support. It is her trademark. But Dimash, who challenges his voice to go higher and farther, often lacks consistency and while surprising everyone with his range, verges sometimes into harshness and tightness. Both, different. Both, excellent. And a great video!
Lara's version also has way more emotions to it. Dimash, with all his superior ranges and runs, fails to capture the essence of many of the songs he sings.

Yess! I was thinking that too. There is something similar about their vocal tones especially when they belt with straight tone. It doesn't appear in the same range of notes for both of them, but it's there, and it sounds SO good.
