The fact that that one guy said that people stay in gangs because of drugs just further proves that I have never been wrong in my 36 years on this Earth when it has baffled me as to how white people could not only purposefully create evil but they also don't know anything about the people that they willingly tried to destroy and then turned around and tried to tell us how to fix it smh. Now myself personally, I am 36 and I do remember all about the old world before all of the technology that we have now so I am old enough to realize that we are not living with the same type of struggles anymore. The gang members are no longer ki!ling for the same reasons (it was more violent in the 80s and 90s because everyone was establishing turf and the pride of their gangs names). We're not having to fight for equality or for opportunities anymore. We all have knowledge of everything that we didn't have knowledge of back then. We know what all drugs do to you we know what alcohol does to you, we know what unprotected sex does to you. We are nowhere near the same struggles that we had just 30 years ago.
So why do the gang members kill for now?

I somewhat agree, back in the late 80's and early 90's.. In the hood, we were surrounded by that lifestyle. We didn't know any better, Limited choices. Now days if you're trying to bang, It's probably a generational thing or your very narrow minded. There are too many choices and so much opportunities now days. No need to be affiliated.
