- If you enjoyed even one second, please take some time to read this.
Myself and numerous other people have put an amazing amount of effort towards producing what would be considered as an OK frag video for APB. I want to make it clear that while I spent at least 3 weeks working extremely hard editing this, SilverCrow spent just as much time perfecting the audio, and the designers put in a great deal of effort to make clothing and vehicles for the video.
This video has errors. It has flaws. It has unfinished issues which I would have fixed, if it weren't for what happened with the competition. I want to release it, as I still think it holds strong value. We want to make Room 40, in the future, if this is well received.
The frags were all rushed, and recorded in 1-3 days for APB's recent Video Competition. The deadline was set at 11:59 PDT, however they LOCKED the forum thread at 11:30 PM, after I had spent 20 hours awake finishing this verson to get it delivered. I e-mailed G1, and they replied saying I would be allowed to submit, but via e-mail directly to them. I sent in my video via e-mail, but never received a mention. Immediately after they announced the winners a month later, I also e-mailed/PM'd again to ask if they included us. To this day, I have no reply, and no idea if they considered us.
Worktime: 3 weeks apprx.
Credits: Swift.FoX, SilverCrow, Symmetry, Bellentiel.
Programs: After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and many more.

Amazing edit!!!
Very well made, cudos to you and the team :)
Definetely one of the most well-edited frag movies / video game montages I've ever seen for APB. Clips aren't the best, but the editing makes up for it.
Even if you got no response from G1, they needed someone to advertise their game, like trailers and such. So I don't think they would've accepted you for a frag video, though I couldn't believe they'd not even mention you.
Don't let it get to your head, another opportunity will arise eventually. I can't wait for Room 40. :)
Cactupia I accepted I wouldn't come first place in the competition when I saw Skittles entry. The answer to me was simple, G1 would of course rather have a free trailer :-). What is rather disrespectful is when they host a competition, and are fully aware of the effort people put in, to not treat them with some respect. Either way, perhaps I will hear from G1 now, and perhaps not! I know the frags sucked, the entire video could have been 10 times better if it wasn't a rush for the competition, hence why some day Room 40 might blow it out of the water. Thanks for watching!
Ronald Griffin I know what you mean. I had to rush some projects as well and they turned out completely different than intended, since the editing didn't live up to the clips at all. I was in a pretty bad mood about it for a while. The most we can do is try harder next time. :)
Cactupia Agree with every word
your edits are always so refreshing. good job
***** damn it's been a while! SF days.

Anyway to get the names of the songs used? ( Mostly the credits one :) )
Speedfreak100 First one is Noisia - Tommy's Theme, with a slight edit to the intro as far as I can tell. Don't know the rest.
Ah thanks for the reply!
Speedfreak100 Second one - The Glitch Mob - A Dream Within a Dream vs Trifonic - Broken (Redrosid mashup mix)
Renaissance :3 lol I actually got both Glitch Mob and Trifonic vibes from it when I heard it :P Not surprising then.
No 4k 60fps option?
***** Not today Joe, not today.
Terrible, good edit doe
silvers and low gold randoms, how cute.
***** nice edit tho.
***** Not really much I could do when I had to film over 2 days, so roughly 10 hours max of actual gameplay, that's the best I could sample.
Ronald Griffin
fair enough bro.
