I know this is an old video, but many are saying why isn’t there the osu tutorial, if you check in the top left of your screen where it shows the maps status, you can see it is not ranked, in order for a map to get plays that osu counts, the map needs to be ranked, hope this cleared anything up

Jeppe You don't need a tablet to be good. It's recommended for better accuracy and faster reaction time/movement, But definitely not a necessity. Honestly, all is required for Osu! is Practice, practice, and more practice. Play difficult songs you can barely beat, and that'll get you into the rank you want. :)

well just for starters, tiny circles with super linear formatting, really repetitive patterns, and a vague term called "overmapping'' which is a little hard to describe, are all considered bad techniques. You'll see this a lot in older maps. Generally, a good map doesn't have to be hard, but has well timed beats that follow the melody/rhythm that is already in the song in a intuitive way. Anything in excess is /usually/ bad but then you get stuff like freedom dive. there are definitely people more qualified to talk about this than me though. But good maps have spacing that makes sense, make most of much of the screen even if there aren't huge jumps, and just feels *organic* in a way.
because not alot of ppl get to finish it.. i finished it (horribly) but plays=finish i think annd those ppl who play it with ht ez etc do not count (for me at least) 50.000 ppl ranked it so it could be in the list i think (i dont know the exact play number tho)

maybe he edited it? when i saw it ON JANUARY 23 im certain that there were obvious errors in his comment. also it doesnt means that because english is you first language that youll be good at it, ive seen many people that have englsih as their second or third language and the were better at it than people that have it as first language.
I love how all maps are lacking quality in almost every possible way. The only few maps I find reasonable are Linked Horizon, and Kokou no Sousei (not that that one is great >>___>>)
