Man, I’m telling you…these videos give me life!!!! They are absolutely the next best thing to actually being there in my beloved London. I miss walking those awesome streets with my husband. I really need to get back there but in the meantime, I have these amazing videos to tide me over until I can step foot back onto British soil. Thank you for braving the elements to do this. Much love from the United States (Philadelphia Pa)💜🇺🇸💜🇬🇧💜🇺🇸💜🇬🇧💜🇺🇸🇬🇧🥨🥨🥨
My first thought, when I would arrive home from a cold , wet walk like this, would be "holy crap, I need something to warm me up". How great it is to sometimes live vicariously!!
Really love the atmosphere of a crowded street but dont actually like to be there! So I watch these videos tucked up in bed at home and induldge in the atmosphere
Very nice walk in the rain very often. the streets are very shiny between the lights and the reflections on the sidewalks. The Arches Shopping were quiet!!. I saw the Noël Coward theater too, which is very well known. Very pleasant walk. Thank you friend WW for making us discover London. 😀😀😀😀😀
The Picadilly advertising light hordings, like the big red Coca Cola sign used to be a treat to film and photograph. But since they went and changed them all to digital/LED, then it's virtually impossible to get great pictures at Piccadilly Circus. The lighting is overpowering. So not surprising our good cameraman W.W steered clear of the Circus. But for sure, the wet pavements make a pretty London picture just after the rain.
@deejohn1659 Yes, I love seeing Piccadilly Circus in old photos and videos, the lights looked fantastic. I understand why they want a digital screen now but it's a shame all the same.
these walks have been getting me thru now that i can no longer walk. ( i need hip surgery, but have to lose weight, before they will perform the surgery) so i visualize myself walking with you. i miss walking soo badly. everyday is a challenge.
Canadian High Commission at 25:35. Can't help getting a warm and fuzzy feeling seeing multiple large Canadian flags flying. Thank you for filming along "Ibrahim Avenue" Watched Walker.🇨🇦 🇨🇦. Actually, you've reminded me,I need to renew my Canadian passport soon.It expires in July though I don't intend to go back to Vancouver until the New Year. My UK passport is good till 2027. Sidenote: Dual citizen Canadians can only enter Canada on their Canadian passport. I would actually be refused entry on my UK passport and yet my Mum who is not Canadian, would be able to enter Canada on her UK passport. This is a relatively new rule that came into effect a few years ago...and has caught out many Canadians living outside of Canada. 🇨🇦
@ibs5080 That's interesting about entering Canada as a dual citizen, it would be a real pain for those who only travelled with their UK passport. All the best to you and mum 😀
Hola WW. 🥰
Northumberland Avenue is where mum and I catch the London bus Christmas lights tour, just off Trafalgar Square. We will be doing that again in a few months. There's always a sizeable Christma market in Trafalgar Square at the time, with the Canadian High Commission just across the street.
Watching this now whilst doing my 1 hour workout on the stationary bike at home WW. I have a proper TV screen with remote in front of the bike. I'm currently at around 9 mins with the Three Greyhounds pub and Chatmeals. The Three Greyhounds half timbered building reminds me of Liberty's which I know you've also filmed. Mum and I are also getting ready to go away for three nights starting Friday, returning home on Monday. Partly to attend the RHS Spring Fair at Malvern Three Counties Showground. It's a huge show and we went last year. We will stay near Birmingham NEC. Although it's an hour away from the show, we are going to be exploring Birmingham City centre a bit more. Been before and it's surprisingly impressive. Just the library alone is something and the city has more canals than Venice. It's just a matter of taking the train from the NEC to the çity centre. About 20 mins. Anyhow Thank You for this video. I've now got to 14:37 and Leicester Square underground station entrance.
You are a really good sport doing these rain walks for us , because we LOVE them. Since it rains so much in London , you should put the logo on a brolly sometime. :) NANCY
Olaf wishes to raise a point of order here. It distinctly describes you logos as being "hidden" in the videos. That one in Charing Cross Road is so big and loud that it hardly fits the description. Olaf is wondering if WW is playing a game with us? Noooo - surely not!
@@WatchedWalker Yes quite - Olaf can follow your reasoning. And it has to be acknowledged that the ploy worked spectacularly. However - it must also be said that Olaf is labouring with outdated equipment which does not help! On the plus side - he did spot the other two logos as well. They were quite well hidden and he did wonder whether the obvious one was a 'red herring' and that there might have been another one hidden in there somewhere. You know what trolls are like!
@@olafthetroll5262 Yes, viewing in a lower resolution really does make viewing the logos harder. Olaf is doing a great job working out what I may be up to with my logo placements, I will need to work harder!

@francoisevitard5272 Great to hear you enjoyed this walk, and yes, nice to see the Arches quiet this time!
The Watched Walker on that truck looked like the company had it painted on !
Awesome

Thanks for making the WW logo so clear on Charing Cross Rd - even I spotted it 😂😊! Great walk and reflections
@margaretfoster2883 I thought I would let everyone spot it at least once 😀

@acourtesan Sorry to hear that, I do hope you manage to get the surgery before too long, I'm wishing you all the best!
I wish you best luck of all! Hope everything want well.
Brilliant video, had a laugh when I seen the shop called Duck World. Nothing but rubber ducks, great. 13:17

The lights look so pretty during and after the rain, thank you. Saw the 3 WW logos, the 2nd one was large and bold.
@mariapotter2620 Great job on spotting all three! I too love the lights reflected, and peaceful walking in the rain too.
Love this ambience ☔️
A nice thought, I think. The large logo.
I saw it 1:07 watched Walker hey everybody hope all is well we all are over here your friend Cindy
Thank you for this great walk. Nice to follow this rainy walk from home. I saw two logos. One of them was impossible to miss! I smiled when I saw it!
@anne-liseeikahansen I just couldn't resist adding the logo to that truck, at least everyone will get to spot a logo at least once now 😀

What time was it when you were walking in that place?
May I suggest a place for you to visit. If I may, please travel to London in the direction of Arsenal's stadium, Emirates Stadium.
@natanaeleddyrompis496 I've done this walk to Arsenal stadium - ua-cam.com/video/QD_ZejnHzMQ/v-deo.html
