Thanks for showing the flashes, blunders & drops as well. It keeps it real for us amateurs and reminds us of the patience and practice required. Good personality and your

I love that you did two versions of the performance for that retention vanish. That was something I tend to never see anyone doing in tutorials. It showed basically amateur vs. expert. And any chance anyone has to move quicker through bad habits is a plus for me. Video full of gold once again man. Much luv. You Are Art.

Important point people! The coin he is using is a United States of America Morgan Silver Dollar. There’s also what’s known as the standing Liberty coin in silver. These coins are the PERFECT SIZE for this routine and others. Now. If you can’t afford silver, the United States of America made a coin of the same size that is not silver. It was known as the Eisenhower dollar and it was minted from 1971-78. It will work also. There might be some foreign coins this size also but I don’t know what they would be.

“I don’t know what hard looks like anymore cause I’m just too d- good.”
An absolute flex, and the absolute truth. Even after completely explaining the trick and me knowing each move, it looks just as clean and ‘magical’ as it did before he explained it.
To me, this is the best kind of magic - when you can explain the trick and it loses no entertainment value (or even increases in value) on a future performance.

This is an excellent tutorial. I have learned a card disappearing move, false shuffle and a few self working card tricks. The only coin trick I ever learned was on the back of a breakfast cerial box. I am dating myself here. This illusion will require some practice. However, based upon the reaction I have received from the card tricks I have done this is well worth the effort. Thank you and welcome back.

Some people don't like it when you reveal the trick. Just because you know how the trick is done, I have a greater appreciation for the trick and the skill of the performer. For example, I know how to sing, or throw a football, but watching someone with real talent do it is somthing I appreciate.

After watching literally 100s of vids, youre retention vanish is one of the best. And that can only come from someone doing live close up magic. One Question, in order to not telegraph the grabbing of the coin with the middle finger, would it be recommended to hold the coin with the index and middle finger going in towards the empty hand?

I'd love to learn a "basic" sequence like this. Extending finger in first part seems to be hard for me, my middle finger appears to be longer than yours, it's so noticeable. I also can't grip the coin in my palm. I play Uke and my hand muscles are pretty trim, there's no extra skin to grip with! :(
Have you ever taught this face-to-face with anyone? How fast doe normal people get it??
    I'm off to practice!!
