Quand on voit les stats (à 3"05), c’est juste impensable d'imaginer que la France a gagné et pourtant, elles l'ont fait. Après une défaite aux Mondiaux 2021 en finale et une autre en demie de l'Euro 2022, on s'impose et en plus en Norvège, bravissimo les filles! Si on les retrouve en finale, il faudra remettre ça!

And it is the arranging organisation who does it - (to maximise audience attendance, both live and on tv) - not the teams or the national handball federations. And the IHF and EHF are obviously fine with it. I’m not defending it, but complaining about it now seems disingenuous - unless you complain about it every year. Nothing new under the sun, same story every championship. Which means it evens out over time. (Last year all three - Norway, Denmark, Sweden - were in the same main round, which seemed unfair at the time - allowing Montenegro a path to the semifinal over Sweden, clearly the better team).
