    The intensity of the vibrations during fry scream makes difficult the discrimination between vocal folds and false chords and I struggle to isolate them. But I clearly hear the difference when you do it in the video. Nice kargyraa by the way ;)

      One of the cue can be the volume. There is more supraglottic pressure when the supraglottic tissues start to oscilate, and often the volume raises.

    Thank you for mentioning Mélissa Cross; I feel like many people don’t realize she’s the originator of this term.       Thanks for the comments ! I usually recommend Toni Linke's YT stuff for people who need to have precise examples; I truly think he is probably the most precise out there when it comes to categorizing rough vocal effects.
