The over-the-top moments in the video are meant to be taken with a touch of humor, but they're not completely exaggerated. I've tried to quit the game multiple times, but I kept bouncing back, feeling that I was too good to stop playing, and invested too much time and energy already. The breaking point was reached during this tournament, where I honestly had almost zero motivation to play the game. After the game against Azaya I couldn't even make myself play and got completely destroyed as a result in my next game, so I decided that if I get to grand finals I will pick cowboy, even though I had no practice on the character this patch and he was considered bottom tier just to leave on the character I started playing as. The goal was simply to finish the tournament with the character I initially started playing, didn't expect to get the reset. In the end, Royce got the deserved win as the player with the best mindset and love for the game always wins, I sure know that. I will be moving on from yomi hustle, but that was an awesome experience. I just wish I could quit a bit earlier.
Elucard, you are the reason I started Yomi in the first place, and while your love of the game has faded mine still burns brightly. Thank you for introducing me to Yomi, and whatever you play next I hope you can enjoy it without feeling forced.
This was more emotional than I imagined, it was nice to see a bit of your thought process and I am happy you got your determination back. I subscribed, hope to see more from you soon.
Amazing plays man. Sad to see you go since you were one of the ones that got me into the game, but I wish the best for you in whatever you plan to do. Thank you. 🙏
It feels bad when that spark for a game you used to love just disappears. But at some point you gotta call it quits before what you love becomes what you hate. Hopefully, with this door closed behind you, you'll find that spark again for a passion you truly love.
I found you so recenty, Elucard - just when I picked this game up. Its legacy belongs to you, and I am sure you will be an inspiration for many to come, like to myself. Viva!
Simply incredible Elucard. I loved the effort in the editing of this one last video, that was an amazing ride, i'm glad you were able to had a one last moment of fun with ups and downs before you go. Good luck on your next projects man, cya!!
Very good content, it's insane to see players of your skill level play so efficiently and beautifully, it's almost like watching a dance. I'm trying to get to this tier of gameplay but I'm still inherently learning how to predict and understand characters, with mods this is definitely more of a challenge but still quite fun. Can't wait to see what you have next for us Elucard.
even though i was like barely active in the community n only checked like once every 2 billion brazillian years (a week) you were a very cool member of the community n had awesome videos i still remember when cowboy got nerfed in unstable and you magically turned yellow (ninja)
I hope you're doing well in your current endeavors after quitting YOMI. I hope people see you as the OG Cowboy GOAT always, even after your retirement. If I were to main Cowboy as well, I'll look up to you. o7
I was just on the game with friends for a bit since ranked dropped, I'm not back on playing also wouldn't be very fitting content since I used to try my hardest to win and this time I was just playing purely for fun
A lot of different reasons, from the game being too random at times to how high level play being considered "boring" and "unfun" in this game and you being shamed for trying to play as good as possible. The developer of the game never planned for it to be a competitive game after all. I also want to do different things but I can't just play a competitive game for fun, that's not how I do things. I either try to become the best or don't do it at all.
the character was top one within a month after this? what are you talking about dude. edit: also elucard did not quit because cowboy wasn't top one thats stupid
bro youre quitting? me and my friends just got into the game a week ago... and my friend is a cowboy main and loves your vids :( we'll unsub now, thanks for your service
Wait what have I done lmao. Stop unsubscribing, there will be something on the channel that you might find very interesting if you liked yomi
I can't.
You shouldn't have told us anything but slowly shift to other topics over time
@@Aeiou2847 it's not gonna be a slow shift, but rather a surprise :)
@@eluxdrio game development announcement? There's not so much that can surprise us
@@Aeiou2847 Well, hopefully it will. We'll see.

Ok
fuckin ivysly nerfed cowboy so hard the best cowboy player actualy quit
and ninja players swear theres no bias

that is NOT the reason
that would be ridiculous to quit the game because your character got nerfed
also cowboy is very good now as far as I know
