I have no idea how it would even play out. Nina has some remorse towards Steve to the fact she didn’t kill him in Tekken 4. When you think about it, all they did was infuse Nina’s genes, not created a male clone of her. She’s just not ready for motherhood and probably awkward about it
It's just like meeting a family reunion and I used to play Tekken 7 and beat the whole entire story I also beat the other characters stories and I never thought that Steve Rogers have to fight Nina and have a talk with her it's just like talking to mother and son but I do saw that flashback from Tekken 4 playing Steve Fox and I do remember that Nina was scoping out seeing Steve and some Crooks try to shoot Steve but Nina prevent it from killing him and Steve start beating the crap out of those guys and after that Steve saw that woman is running after they was about to have a talk but another guy show up and I know this character named lei he also tried to catch her but Steve stopping him and she escaped but Steve was happy to protect her so that's why families always watch their backs and go separate ways
Hard to believe that they didn’t go anywhere with this moment in Tekken 8. Because it felt more like they are half siblings with the same parent. In fact, in the live action movie. Steve had no ties to Nina. Instead he serves as an old friend to Jun, & a mentor to Jin.

It's a real pity that Tekken 8 doesn't further explore the relationship between Nina and Steve, AKA Mother and Son.
I know, the closest we get is Steve saying to Nina, "You're the last person I want to fight." I believe he says something else if he defeats her, I can't remember.
Nina William: Steve... I am your mother......
Steve Fox: Noooooooooo....
Thats where she starts to grow an attachment to her son and respects him more because he saved her life twice. Once back around TK 4.
I certainly hope so, she even hesitated a moment before running away.
I'm glad Steve finally found out his mother but I'm sad that it had to be her...I doubt that she doesn't care she just doesn't want to get close to anyone due to her lifestyle. But Steve is Bae tho he seems he's the most stable one besides his history...🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Bro just got rejected by his own mom but he still chose to protect her.
W Son.
So Steve's real name must be Steve Williams
If Nina or Anna had raised him then yes
If his last name is "Fox", then it might've been his father's last name.
The child will never receive the family name of their mothers, but I don't know about Jin though. I don't know why he isn't Jin Mishima.
@@deliciouspotato2623 I think it's Jin Kazama
@@SamuelJohnsonYT you didn't get what I said didn't you?
I feel really bad for Steve founds out that Nina was her mother but she refused to say that she will never be her son. when they were ambushed, Steve tells her to he will handle them as Nina runs to retreat
1:16 😏 like if you remember this part on TEKKEN 3
the tekken 3 intro song went into my mind while watching
Luis Silva
yeah my to 👊😂
No. I forget.
Back when tekken was tekken. Now its been something else since 6
Didn’t we learn this in Tekken 4?
Nina is STAGGERINGLY good looking in this game.
Her body is terrible tho. Look at the classic costume mods video and you will see what i mean.
NINA is the best one in all the tekken story.
she is "Assassin"
nina doesnt ready to get called mommy lol
especialy from a big guy like steve.
Hahahahaha ikr
I have no idea how it would even play out. Nina has some remorse towards Steve to the fact she didn’t kill him in Tekken 4. She is just being herself and not letting anything get in the way of her job. I’m sure deep down inside she cares somewhat about Steve. Being an assassin requires her to not be distracted by any emotions at all. Yes that’s her son , but she was drugged and used, so in a way I could understand the cold, but I feel like they need to go more in depth with them. Put them as partners or make a spin off game with them having to work together. Maybe then would they somewhat create a little bond
Why'd she really want to continue being an assassin anyway, it's an option to quit and get legit, don't think that she has anything forcing her to keep being there.
I think tekken should take more serious tone like that one, bring back Anna and make Nina care for Steve somehow, Anna absence is stupid
"I couldn't care less about you"Wow great mother you are Nina
Can you blame her? The Mishima Zaibatsu created Steve without Nina even knowing.
@@jinthekingkazama1159ok and? Still doesn’t justify her actions and everything she has done alongside having zero feelings towards her own kin.
@@gabrieltejada1697 Do you REALLY expect her to care about a son she never wanted in the first place? Besides, it's not like she completely despised him, as she spared Steve in her Tekken 4 ending.
@@jinthekingkazama1159 I don’t think you realize how contradictory that is.
@@gabrieltejada1697 Don't care. My point is that Nina is not one to show feelings. If you don't agree, good for you. I'll show myself out.
Tekken 7 Nina: “You’ll never be my son, I couldn’t care less about you. If anything, you’re a thorn in my side.”
Tekken 8 Nina: *sees Devil Kazuya almost kill Steve* “MY BABY BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!!!
Everyone thinks that the prime example of unconditional love is a mother's love. Wrong. It's a child's love for their parents
Motoko Kusanagi is Nina, awesome voice actor
I like how the music suddenly stop when steve found out nina is his mom
"Not-So" Mother and Son Reunion
What Nina means to say "No, you didn't even grow inside my womb."
*Steve meets supremely hot woman that seems interested in him for whatever reason
When he learns she is his mother:
"I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD THEY COME TO ME THEY UNDERSTAND-THEY TALK TO ME"
And then.....hit rko out of nowhere
Judging from their interactions in Tekken 4 and 7, I would say Nina didn't actually hate or dislike Steve at all. She didn't love him either, but I'm sure there is at least some sort of maternal careness for him and she just knows she won't be a good mother figure and would prefer if both of them just live their own lives
There is enough in her like to not be able to kill him like in tekken 4. Despite being a heartless assasin who does not cares about anything other than killing steve is perhaps the seccond person she can just eliminate out of spite. First is Anna, but you could say she does not kills Anna just because she wants to hurt her and humiliate her as long as she wishes but with steve it was diferent. He is probably the first person she cannot kill out of real remorse.
Awww.. Nina cares about her son steve
Joseph Joestar: NIIICCCCEEE!
Jojo refference lol except that Steve(unaware of his affiliation to Nina as his mom) did not tried to tried to perve on her lol
I hope Tekken 8 Nina is alive.
Steve must feel weird seeing his mom looks so young in wedding dress xD
Why in wedding dress
Coming back to this… my theory gets closer and closer to being true. Reina is probably one of many super soldiers that has been genetically created by the MZ using HeiXKaz gene.
Heihachi had a child with Kazuya?!! I knew it!
@@縣 yes. This means if therefore and perchance the theory of the red rock is true, Reina is Kaz and Hei ‘s stepson. What.
@@縣 jokes aside, I’m sure Heihachi Kept Kazumi’s body somewhere and had it cryoslept. She isn’t dead and he is secretly milking himself away to create his Mishima army. Mmmm yes indeed.
@@C_H_U_blud broke her neck aint no cryo chamber gonna keep her alive 💀
@@縣 we’re talking about a world where people punch electric out they hands and can transform into demons and angels. G corp also brought Kazuya back to life. I don’t see where it’s not possible. 😂🤣🤔🤷♂️
Nina is a typical Aquarius. Not letting emotions or family, friends get in the way of what she wants to accomplish.
Love her.
Man so you're encouraging cruelty in people to deem virtues or emotions as weakness and praise people who discard it. What'd be so fulfilling in killing so many people as an assassin anyway.
@@klockenberg2299 I can see why you’d be in the adverse of my statement. But Nina is simply a video game character who is just an edge-lord. Everyone loves a good femme fatale woman? Right?
@@xXxXkuramaxXx Eh, overrated. Some writers are so obsessed with this impossible image of "strong", making them resistant to showing any kind of weakness or vulnerability, that they neglect to make them sympathetic, or have the other characters react as strongly against them as they should. Otherwise it can break the impossible image. A character should be more than just strong.
@@klockenberg2299 There are already plenty of motherly, sympathetic, characters in Tekken. Let Nina be one of the few who isn't. No one wants Big Boss to be a better father after all. Or for Heihachi to quit being abusive and having affairs all over the place.
@@NotaPizzaGRL Plenty? Mention said "plenty" for "motherly". Yes no one wants them to stray from their role, but you also gotta also own it that they're doing bad and wrong things, not justifying them as blameless yet ironically shuts down any criticism done for their actions (which is different from labeling them as badly written/handled characters).
She is bluffing, Because she does care for him. Shes just dosen't show him.
She abandoned him because he was British 💔
Probably a unionist as well
steve's mom is a tsundere
So.. Leo's Mom became a surrogate mother for Steve.. and his real mother was put into an experiment, in which, he was made in a lab. And now, he had mommy issues and went full grind set after this.
And now his mom, is being offered marriage by Lee Chaolan..
Nina is Steve's genetic mother but I don't think she actually gave birth to him or anything.
As such her lack of attatchment isn't really surprising
They might have taken her egg cell without her consent and perhaps used a surrogate mother to birth him. That would be the more logical explanation.
@@TheOmegaDragon That IS what happened.
we already knew of this from the start..
I remember when I saw the name Dr Kleisen, and I never realized that this was Leo's Mother, and Leo had his own drivng story concerning her and trying to find answers from G-Corp
MILF MILF MILF MILF MILF
please let the likes stay at 69 lol
i really wanna like this, but i'll just write a comment saying that i like the comment :P
nina and steve are mother and son 0.0
o, i gotta tell my brother.
Nina knew all along... she was even about to kill him at one point
She looks young enough to be Steve's sister. Younger sister even.
It's the cryosleep's work. Age goes on but the body stays the same
"I could care less about you"
Me: * flashback to Tekken 4 * ...suuuuuure
Yeah she's such a tsundere...
Not the biggest Nina fan but man she's really good looking.
not really
Y'all forget Nina chose to save Steve by shooting down his attackers in a cutscene from T4
Nina was my favourite character when I was little, but now as I read more to understand her story and character (while I don't completely blame her) I'm angry at her. Her upbringing was harsh but it's not fair how she treats Anna and Steve. I'm really hoping that things will become better for all three of them and be happy. I want atleast ONE functional family in this game
Steve : I just want some milk mama
Nina:Fix your own damn Milk Boy!
Nina: I dont want anything to do with you
Steve: ILL RISK MY LIFE FOR YOU MUM
It's great that she's voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn who does the voice of Major Motoko Kusangia in the 2 Ghost in the Shell series but she's lacking her Irish accent.
Jomanro she was raised in the USA so has an American accent
She is basically Xiaoyu. One nationality, but doesn't speak in her language
@@mikeparkinson1695 So Nina Williams reminds me of Sienna Miller hence she is from the British Isles but born in the U.S.
She started voicing Nina in Death by Degrees then from Tekken 5 onwards.
Damn, the lore behind every Telken character is more interesting than the MCU
dude what the fuck, Steve looks a lot like Rugal from The King of Fighters right now LOL
Well Nina did have the chance to kill Steve before, but she didn't. I think deep down she actually does care for Steve as her son.
I don't give a shit if Nina and Anna are similar in ways, they're the only reason I still care about the tekken franchise for this long and would've loved more content and story with their rivalry... I can't really decide which of the sisters I like more.
Bryrida it's hard to decide, in my case I choose Anna.
Nina
lol that must mean you are a boring person ^^
Jin: Mom!
Jun: I love you my son!
Steve: Mom!
Nina: Don’t talk to me. Stay away.
"Don't bring guns into a fist fight!"
-Steve probably
Tekken 8 hopes:
-Nina actually sees in steve his potential and starts to love him
-Lili, after beating asuka moves into her dojo and learn some kazama moves
-Kazuya got killed by akuma
-Jin, without any of the mishimas, can rest in peace and move into the kazama's remodelated dojo with asuka (since she can control the devil) and lili.
-Azazel comes back to life and finally kills the Devil gene
I take it you didn't play the special episode of the story mode where Devil Kazuya quite literally beats Akuma and proceeds to vaporize Akuma with his Rage Art.
none of that happened
not even kazuya 2nd devil form
no akuma
reina has the devil gene and became a devil in the end
angel jin after fusing with devil jin which makes no sense
no jun confronting both jin and kazuya
no more heihachi
Lars and Lee are the best uncles
Azazel was brought back just to get one shot by normal devil kazuya
kazuya no longer has devil inside him
jin still has his tatoo despite not having devil anymore
law is a loser
paul is now a comedy act
steve had no interaction with nina
no Anna
Yoshimitsu and bryan had nothing on the story mode
coffee girl vs tea girl
azazel kazuya vs angel jin in space
😢 hope Aunt Anna treats him better
Anna : "Ara ara Steve-kun~"
When you think about it, all they did was infuse Nina’s genes, not created a male clone of her. She’s just not ready for motherhood and probably awkward about it
Shin Kamiya ( a character from tekken blood vengeance) has left arm problems too
i love how steve was runing into the wall
You know, with the hindsight thay this could've been the final Tekken game if it flopped, I'm glad they finally confronted this topic.
But Nina looks younger than him...
It's because she's been frozen for years that's why her body haven't aged up.
She keeps her distancie, to keep him safe.
Distance
Getting that Les Enfants Terribles vibe from all of this
I kinda want nina to slowly grow a soft spot for him in the next game
Top contender for Mother of the year.
Yeah but Namco... we already knew this.
James Copping yeah but Steve didnt know
@@gozlukluakali5020 Steve knew since Tekken 5.
Imagine if you were 20 years old and your mom was 24 years old.
Tekken pls never change^^
Hard to believe that they didn’t go anywhere with this moment in Tekken 8. Because it felt more like they are half siblings with the same parent. In fact, in the live action movie. Steve had no ties to Nina. Instead he serves as an old friend to Jun, & a mentor to Jin.
When you realize that you're Irish all along
I was hoping Nina would care. But then I realized she's cold-hearted assassin
I wanna see Anna, Nina and Steve having a conversation about something and then as he is about to say something they be like: Shut up, big girls are speaking.
*WE WAITED 3 GAMES FOR THEM JUST TO TALK*
