Classic Bedford with a classic engine.In the 80s i lived beside a yard where 30 of the TMS with Detroits were kept.what a sound to hear them starting and driving off every morning.pure music to my ears....

Had one in the 80s , best truck I ever had , never a problem with it , thrashed it 6 days a week for 3 year , no defects whatsoever, you can’t say that about our modern day crap

My Dad introduced the Tm back in 1974 and later the Detroits. He also done demonstration work with them in front of potential clients/ buyers for companies. It was absolutely amazing what he could do with these lorries and also what the lorries were capable of 😊 These are proper lorries made for real lorry drivers 😊😊😊

Music is the engine. Great video and driving.
BTW, this is a sound I relate to buses. Most long distance buses in Mexico had these type of engine fitted in the 70s and 80s so it brings me some childhood memories. To see a European truck sounding like this is unusual. BTW, all our current buses are Mercedes, Volvo, MAN and Scania. How things change
