It could convey the darkness and depressive period Tyler was going through during Goblin. He was made out to be punky and rebellious, hence why he eat the roach and it was in black and white. It's to represent the sadness. Cherry Bomb has lots of positive vibes, lots of soul and R&B influences which reflect on Tyler's music tastes. He's in a better place now: mentally, financially and musically. He's furthered his career and he's happy.
I fucking love this song. I feel like it’s an inflection point on Tyler’s music. It stands out from the rest of Cherry Bomb and almost foreshadows Flower Boy and Igor and the aesthetic those two albums would take. I’m in awe, this is one of the best songs Tyler has made.

With Tyler he has a lot so that probably means he can't really hide his insecurity of the relationship but with Kali, she has maybe one or two butterflies but they're hidden behind the sunflowers. I kinda thought that it was symbolism for her perfectness. like Kali is able to hide the same butterflies or nervousness better since she is so perfect. the concept is quite poetic and extremely beautiful. and when austin comes in he repeats "alone" and the butterflies are gone. this pokes at the idea that those butterflies wouldn't be there if people were gone. that the people are the cause of this. but at the end he austin throws a little butterfly so Tyler would probably slightly be insecure if the people weren't there.

I feel like the butterflies represent the hesitance and nervousness of the two. With Tyler he has a lot so that probably means he can't really hide his insecurity of the relationship but with Kali, she has maybe one or two butterflies but they're hidden behind the sunflowers. I kinda thought that it was symbolism for her perfectness. like Kali is able to hide the same butterflies or nervousness better since she is so perfect. the concept is quite poetic and extremely beautiful. and when austin comes in he repeats "alone" and the butterflies are gone. this pokes at the idea that those butterflies wouldn't be there if people were gone. that the people are the cause of this. but at the end he austin throws a little butterfly so Tyler would probably slightly be insecure if the people weren't there.

It's a cool analysis but I'd say Tyler is more of a visual artist that doesn't necessary rely on symbolism. Same with Busta Rhymes and Missy. But it's cool that his videos sparks conversation and makes others interpret them in their own ways.
