I don't understand why people get mad at the girl when she doesn't know. I was the "other" girl once because he told me he was single and all of his friends and mine (clearly not such great friends) went along with it. I looked him up on facebook the next day saw he had a girl and sent her a message immediately telling her everything and apologizing repeatedly. She hated me afterwards for a long time.
You know what happens with RED? (and practically with all her music) You listen to it once and then you pick a favorite. Then you listen to it twice or more and then you have a list (probably of 5/6 songs) that you love and another list of songs that you don't hate but you just don't like that much. Then you stop listening for a while, but there's a time when you want to listen to it again, and the list of songs you didn't like before gets blended with your favorites and you don't know what to do because you said you didn't like them before and now you're jamming to them all day and you can't understand why you didn't like themselves at first. It happened to me in RED with Girl At Home, Holy Ground, State Of Grace and The Moment I Knew.

So there was this guy and me. We had a "flirtlationship" but we never spoke of our feelings, it was all flirting and we knew we liked eachother. This went on for almost 3 years (yes, I was so damn stupid) and one night, I told him that if he had told me back then that he liked me I would have gone out with him. This was after he told me he was talking to someone. So then he says, that he always liked me and that the feelings never went away. Long story short, I told him that we couldnt happen because he was talking with someone and that he was 3 years late. And to tell the girl what happened between us cuz she deserved to know. He kept saying over and over how there was no commitment between them and that he didnt have to. I finally wore him down to do so. He even sent me the song "The mess I made" by Parachute. Next day, he told me he chose the other girl, becuase she was a great girl and ect. I understood, but that didn't change the fact that he made me spill my guts. So I sent him this song, saying that he was trying to hide our conversation from her, and that why did he tell me he loved me (yup) when he had another girl. After that, he texted me pretty pissed off saying that he NEVER intended on leaving her, and that whatever he told me he felt for me was from the past. Yea. So after I confronted him on why he changed the story, these were his words: " Ever since I met you you seem to have this sadness in you and I just wanted to bring you some happiness into your life by saying I liked you back" So it was all a pity lie apparently. And weeks after when he asked me if I was gonna be mad forever (I told him that by lying to me our friendship was ruined and he didn't have my trust anymore) he still had the audacity to say that he never said any of those things. Even when I told him I had the messages still where he said that and more. So yea. Honestly this song just makes me laugh now ha thanks Taylor for helping me see what a real jerk that dude was.

This is so damn relatable!!!! I was so mad at myself for a long time for having feelings for someone I knew was married.
