This is why I love Charles Barkley. No agenda or BS from him, just the truth.

I've always been a Sir Charles fan. This is just solidifying that feeling even more. Not many athletes or personalities like him anymore.

It's impressive to hear Barkley speak out like this before Nifong was so unceremoniously humiliated in front of the whole world. The fact that there are thousands of over zealous prosecutors like Nifong out there should be enough to scare anyone!

And over zealous fascist college professors and administrators, 88 of them in this case.

One of the biggest tragedies to this story is Mike Nifong didn't get 20 years in prison.

This what I love about internet commenting, the argument is the only thing you hear, not the race.

Again, I would STRONGLY recommend you to learn about and study the issue of prosecutorial misconduct and Brady violations. What happened to these young men is tragic, and unfortunate - but, not at all uncommon. Good luck.

    lonnayu,
Black was/is not nearly as famous as OJ. Also, Blake didn't go on a high speed chase on national television.
Also, OJ tried to write a book. His trial was also way more bizarre. If it was Tom Cruise, instead of Robert Blake, nobody would talk about OJ.

It's not about color, but popularity.
Tyson served 3years, while Ike Ibeabuchi is still in prison (parole denied three times).

1-1 Agreed! I’m Mexican but don’t have a dark completion and speak perfect English so I often get mistaken as white. I get racism from whites who read my name, Porto Ricans for being Mexican and sometimes even other Mexicans who think I’m white.

Sorry, stupid typo, I was talking while typing. I meant to say "Blake" not "black."

When they found the genetic material of couple of dozen men in that person, but none from the defended, any reasonable person should have started having doubts about the whole narrative.

OJ ( an individual 'adopted' by the mainstream decades ago) is not the issue. the issue is the serious racial injustices against masses of blacks in the criminal justice system., also the huge econ disparities resulting from racism !

@ninjajesus81 The problem with Al Sharpton is that he gets too worked up before all the evidence comes in-If i were Al Sharpton i would say that we will see what happens when all the evidence comes in-Twana Brawley made a fool out of him when she lied in her rape case-The Crystal Mangum case had little to do wtih race-it was a simple matter of innocent or guilty
