Hey Everybody! Today Paulo Runs Through "Rahdo's Goofs":
At 6:10 That have at least one coin in then (that's what the coin in the bottom of the image means), meaning that they have happened at least one time...
This will be played wrong in the whole game
At 12:29 To use the Fort the Event had to had at least a coin in it, so this is an illegal move!
At 14:48 You can only place cards on the tableau orthogonal to other cards already there, you can't put in a diagonal position only
This error will be made more times during the video
At 18:06 The lawyer only receives the money for Buildings not People... so no 3 bucks here
At 18:31 Nope... it was still Richard's turn, he only putt down a card from his hand (and that's optional)
He still had to use the workers
Paulo's notes add a layer of humor that is great! It's like watching the videos with a freind and giggling when you see something and then up pops the note!
agreed! :)
Big goof throughout - when placing a new card, it must be orthogonally adjacent to an existing one! This does not mean however, that the first card is stuck in the centre. Rather, as you build, the first card may shift around to the corner or side, as long as everything stays within the 3x3 limit.
That said, I don't think the goof took anything away from the feeling of the game ;-) Great video as always Richard. And for anyone who is interested, there is a great online implementation of Tournay over at Board Game Arena! Go try it!
Major goof here :p Thanks for spotting it and clarifying... Note added
Lmao, the goof subtitle is helpful and funny, haha. Thanks for the great work!
Thanks for the runthrough Richard. One remark:You can not combat Events that have no coins on them.So Jen could not have used her Fort to battle any Event before the first town crier appeared.Cheers
You're right :) Note added... Thank you
Kinda sorta reminds me of Spyrium. But probably only because you take your worker off your home card to show that they have been used... :)
18:22 Should you placing the architect have activated the lawyer since you placed a person, not a building?
It was already noted... Please turn on the Klingon subtitles to see where Richard goofs up… Thanks :)
Hmm - seems similar to Bruges? Or is that my imagination?
You pronounced it correctly
Why dont you use google to look out pronunciation of all the names??!
i usually do...
Oh, that was a fast response :). I suppose you must be really busy with all the games. Sorry for being critical, but I see this bad pronunciation thing a lot in reviews and think its a minor flaw. But what the heck. No need to be fault-finder, especially on Sunday. Have a beautiful day.
Isn't it Tournai?
no
ZengaGuitar Yes, this should be Tournai (Belgium) as opposed to Tournay (France)
Pierre Carette Tournai it's the actual name of the city but in the medieval time it was Tournay with a Y. And since the game take place in this period of time , it's a reference to that.
ty
antonnboro
That makes some sense.
Turneh
I'm so confused XD
Blame the messenger not the game. It's really not as complicated as this video makes it out to be.
@@bartl7436Yeah I love Rhado's stuff, but this is a terrible playthrough.
Wouldn't both of you have lost a white guy to the heretic event? The card shows either building or worker. And I'm not a guy that has to be wowed by artwork, but man are those cards ugly to look at.
Can you give me the timestamp please?
Ignore that. I read the rules on BGA, and that is building OR character, never a worker so you didn't do anything wrong. Boy that iconography is hard to decipher and get used to.
