My way running wires to roof is through the two existing holes near the back camera. I did not drill any holes but all these wires going through these 2 holes are creating tightness and having wires laying on top of the roof. I used all relays to control lights and solar panels on the roof which enables me to use smaller gauge wires.
I need to run 8 wires to roof so I have to drill
Relay doesn’t reduce current to load, but it reduces current to switch. So in theory you use the same gauge wire to roof top load like light bars
Thank you for sharing mounting the shoreline power method. I don’t like drilling any holes on the van body. I just checked my sprinter. It is slightly different on the bumper. The stepper and bumper cover is one piece and my has radar sensors on the stepper and the Conner plastic cover. Hopefully that do not give me much trouble. Your UA-cam video is very helpful. Greatly appreciated
I did the same for bumper with sensor, it should be the same just be careful when you remove bumper don't break sensor cable.

My is 2019 144 4x4 with high ceiling. The average per gallon is 17 miles if you keep the rpm around 2000rpm. Hopefully this helps
